  1. Past hour
  2. Russell Wilson never got hit hard and he didn't slide. He just went to the ground like a belly flop.
  3. With how injured the Bucs have been I would be surprised to see them send starters out if they win the next 2 weeks. That would really be a kick in the nuts to have us play their 2nd string in a meaningless finale.
  4. Norris is a professional analyst, previously with NBC now with Underdog.
  5. He just admitted he did it because he knew we didn't have any timeouts what a creep In his postgame presser Tyler Shough said he “sold” being hurt after the Ransom’s hit because he knew they were out of timeouts. “I may have sold a little bit because I know we didn't have any timeouts. So, I mean, it definitely hurt, but I was good. And we had to be in that scenario. We were going to clock it.” (4) Carolina Blitz on X: "In his postgame presser Tyler Shough said he “sold” being hurt after the Ransom’s hit because he knew they were out of timeouts. “I may have sold a little bit because I know we didn't have any timeouts. 6. More from John... Belichick was famously known for taking league penalty rules and twisting them to take advantage. He's far from the only one.
  7. If you want Young replaced you will have to dump Canales as well. New qb, new coach and possibly a new GM. The current 3 are tied together by 1 common thread. I'll let you figure it out.
  8. You know who else doesn't run QB sneaks? Mahomes and Lamar. They use TEs. We could do that too if they're concerned about his size. But... I do recall Bryce running a QB sneak against Green Bay and getting a couple of yards out of it. He can do it. They just don't.
  9. I don’t like the excuse for Dave that he has to deal with Bryce numerous times this season this team has looked throughly unprepared and unready, the big games we won, we won the turnover battle or some non replicable scenario happened. yesterday was the final straw for me, just all phases looked unprepared, 4th and short were running the same play because for some reason we’re not doing qb sneaks with Bryce, ok fine, why not have one of our 3 big boy TE have a specific tush push package for scenarios like yesterday ? I don’t see anything that canales does well, which is ironic, cause it’s the same for Bryce oh yeah and don’t forget we lined up twice offsides on fg attempts……
  10. Football is a team sport, but the QB is the engine of the offense. Granted they can't do it alone, but the offense generally doesn't go far without a good QB. One year of observation is just that. The second year of the same results is possibly coincidence. The third year of the same results is a pattern/trend. Should it take a 4th season to disprove the first three years?
  11. Not saying Icky did his job yesterday, but do you know how much easier it is to rush if you don't have to worry about a QB stepping up into the pocket frequently? You can attack because there's only about a 20-30 degree windows of where the QB is going to end up instead of 90. You don't have to worry about adjusting so much, you can just go. Easier to run a straight line when there's little need to worry about changing direction. Icky's weakness coming out of college was pass pro. Young played like the DROY yesterday and Icky got handled. Your OC has to adjust to that. Your QB needs to adjust to that. We didn’t. See results.
  12. He hired his buddy Canales. In the interview someone posted of Tillis, Tillis let it slip that he was not here when they hired Canales when he talked about team building so that tells me that it was all Morgan and Tepper.
  13. He could luck into a QB and his meddling would have much less impact. The team gets good he doesn’t feel the need to meddle as much. Only way it can work with him. We got really unlucky. How many drafts will there ever be where a midget is there for him to fall in love with? And would he do it again after this anyway? If we’d have been lucky enough to not do this with Bryce in play, the odds of lucking into the right choice between two players with all the attributes jumps to 50% (Bryce was zero).
  14. Yeah, I get it and I largely agree. I just realize that the NFL wants to give the refs as much leeway as possible to protect QBs. I was honestly surprised a flag didn't fly on that Bryce hit. Do I think it should be a flag? No, but I'm conditioned to expect one when a feet first QB gets contacted.
  15. You're just going to avoid the step into the pocket and not be behind the LTs part? I never mentioned Dowdle either
  16. I think a lot of it has to do with Bryce's past play that folk can't let go at this point. He used to hold the ball forever and just take sacks. Now the oline was bad but more than a few were on him. I judge him game to game, play to play, with no expectations. But he hasn't really been a sitting duck since his rookie season and maybe a little before the benching. Earlier this season he took sacks and fumbled the ball way too often. But he wasn't just sitting back there like a statue. He just didn't know when to give up on plays.
  17. So by my proposed rules, Shough would have been protected and Young not protected. Shough left his feet at the 45 yard line. Ransom is at the 42-1/2 yard line. Young never left his feet until contact was initiated.
  18. Well you just said HE can't put away teams. I showed you recently it's not just him and you are saying it works both ways. I agree it works both ways. We as a team are having trouble putting away teams.
  19. We were in the lead by a score 17-10 late in the 4th. Once the Saints tied it up, we had the chance for a GWD. We were in control and handed it to them on each side of the ball, coaching, players, all of the above.
  20. That was so fuging lame. Canales’ positivity after being embarrassed is hard to stomach. He followed the ‘physics’ excuse by saying sneaks weren’t “our style” and we would prefer to focus on our style. Honestly fug that double talk. Tired of excuses for Bryce not being able to do meat and potato QB tasks. Style. Yeah.
  21. Yeah, it was dumb of Icky because the push on Bryce was light and legal but it was still a pretty ticky tack flag. Pushing and shoving happens after a lot of plays and as long as they knock it off when the refs step in it's usually play on.
  22. And while they were flag happy, it only resulted in one 1st down for the Panthers.
  23. How would you rate this season compared to last year? Curious to see what the hive mind has to say. Did they take a step foward or not? Did Bryce improve? The coaching staff? If they sh#t the bed the remainder of the season was it any improvement?
  24. I wouldn't go that far. I think the defense should get the lion's share. But in their defense there were some very questionable calls that extended drives. But giving up those 3rd and longs were back breakers. Bryce isn't asked to carry the team. He's asked to make his 4 or 5 big plays, usually towards the end of games. That's how you win with this version of Bryce. I think he made more than that yesterday. I thought he did a good job of manipulating the pocket and escaping when he had to. He just didn't get the help he needed to win the game. I'm not saying that's always the case. But it was yesterday. I think. I plan to watch the All-22 today. The eye in the sky don't lie.
