  2. yea....Minnesota fell off the map this year after going 14-3 with Darnold...bet they wish he was back... and his record looks good this year...maybe he figured it out.... he does get the tight azz in big games still.

  4. i presented this in another thread. he throws better to the out breaking routes the wr run, but almost nothing to the inside. that is half the options on a wr route tree. How do you run an offense like that? even the outbreaking routes he throws are moonballs, that allow the DBs to catch up unless the wr is wide open. he has to throw with a lot of anticipation becuase he doesnt have the arm strenght to get it there if he is a little late. thats probably why you see balls behind the wrs.
  5. Gotta go with the best forward on our team, Jackson Blake.
  6. This front office screwed the pooch again in the '25 draft. Tyler Warren was sitting there and would've been the perfect addition for a QB who can't push the ball down field and could've greatly used an intermediate route security blanket. I don't even entertain this team getting a draft pick or free agent correct at this point. Their drafts suck, and no decent free agent wants to live in Charlotte in their 20's, unless you wildly overpay for them. We are stuck hoping our division continues to suck, and 8 or 9 wins every year is competitive.
  7. The first might have been a smart play by the defender. Let him go, illegal man downfield. If it was, great play by the D lineman. We were always taught to get to the ball even if the whistle blows. Never let a ball sit for just this reason. Weird poo happens. Better to have the ball in your hand when it does than not.
  8. I don't remember it specifically. I would imagine any "insider info" that far out is a little vague. More along the lines of ths rather obvious things we can see. Hopefully the FO has a good idea of their attack plan as soon as the offseason cycle starts in a few weeks.
  9. You should get on the payroll bub. Don't work for free.
  10. Sounds like there may have been a Time Life series or two in your household at some point.
  11. Wasn't there a thread a few weeks back saying from one of the beat reporters. Our offseason targets are to get better at TE, Pass rushing and Inside LB
  12. Today
  13. More like a series of books that you pre-paid for a subscription to and now this many issues in you have to keep reading them because you are already so invested, even though it just keeps getting worse. I think those books are being written by AI now. Tommy Tremble had seven fingers on the last cover.
  14. I think we are going Edge or LB in round 1. Kungfoodude makes good points.
  15. We go out of our way not to attack the middle of the field if we can avoid it which is due to Bryce's lack of vision. We learned about that the hard way in his rookie season and it was not pretty. And that only makes things more difficult for our OL in pass blocking. There's 3 years worth of game tape on this. Passes to the sideline are also hit and miss at best and occasionally Bryce will throw a dime along the sideline but for the most part the receiver has to either slow down or fully stop in his tracks and make an acrobatic move to have a chance to haul in the throw in bounds.
  16. Maybe the last 4 but over the season pff likes him as much as any stat measure lol
  17. Making something out of nothing and improvising was a big part of his selling point but it was always primarily as a passer distributing the ball aka point guard. But he had 185 rushing yards in 2 full seasons at Alabama. Again. We didn't draft him for his legs no matter how many times someone wants engage in revisionist history.
  18. Our line is built to run 1st, not pass block. Our LT was drafted as a run blocking mauler, not the pass pro ready. To top it off, our coach can't recognize which RB is actually producing in game. Another issue is we have a QB that can't play effectively from inside a tight pocket. He can't see the field. His sight line is below the shoulder pads of most linemen. Stepping up into a tight pocket is essentially going blind for him. Top OL play is always going to be an issue because unless we can keep huge gaps, his field vision will be limited. It's why he's so quick to bail and scramble. It's why I can't do floor seats with my wife. I'm 6'3 and my vision still gets blocked. She's 5'3 and she's blind. It's front row or regular tiered seats.
  19. We finally got a really good duo performance from LaMelo and Brandon and with the help of Kon Knueppel we knocked off the Hawks. Now we play the waiting game to see how long LaMelo will remain relatively healthy.
  20. Running to extend plays and avoid sacks was definitely one of the reasons he was drafted, I mean that was pretty much his specialty in college. I honestly didn't think that would translate very well at this level, but he had become pretty elusive in the pocket. If our OL is having a bad day, which all OL do, he needs to use his legs to help them out which I think he did pretty well last week.
  21. Oh my god no poo “NO ONE IS GETTING HOT CHOCOLATE”
  22. Hes not throwing into coverage. Coverage doesn’t matter when you throw half your passes behind the line of scrimmage. Defenses are playing 8 in the box with single high safeties. matter what the defense is or what they’re disguising if you’re just gonna throw a 20 yard go route and hope the wr gets there.
  23. I appreciate the efforts you've made here with this data. As concerned as I am about how efficient we are allowing opposing QB's to perform against us I think we can all agree a change of scenery at DC will go a long ways. Equally as important is the simple fact that we have shifted primarily to an offensive identity as a team and the investments of our resources strongly reflect that. If we cannot get better results out of this offense things need to change.
  24. Covered that above. As for his weapons I am completely over the scapegoating of the receivers. Been doing this for now going on three full years and I'm done hearing it. At some point if you have a franchise QB he either makes the players around him better or he doesn't. Now if you want to get into Canales I am willing to give him just as much smoke as Bryce because we had options for head coach and we chose to go offensive head coach again to oversee the development of our steep investments in the offense. So far said development is lacking to say the least and we came out of the bye week with the division and playoffs to play for looking like the less motivated team. That is unacceptable.
