  1. Past hour
  2. Player gets new contract and doesn't play to the same level is hardly breaking news or needs a conspiracy. He bet on himself and won so now all he has to do is enough to keep the non-guaranteed money rolling in. As for getting spanked by Olave it's just a bad matchup for him and a reality check. Maybe that would look a little better in another scheme?
  3. You are delusional, no way he’s ever going to be top 10 QB. I don’t blame BY entirely, but this guy cannot carry the team when it’s needed. No arm, no vision, and can’t play in the pocket.
  4. No, they mostly manned up with 2 deep safeties. Our receivers couldn't beat the man.
  5. Only if you're under the impression his replacement won't be worse.
  6. We shouldn't put this in the air I don't think Jaycee did anything wrong on purpose
  7. No, I'm gonna say the 4 picks against Chicago where all their points came off turnovers.
  8. I bet if I go back again and pull up 2022 threads I'll find the same people in here saying Baker was the worst QB in the league and needed to be replaced. Then I bet if I go back a year further, I'll find the same people in here saying Darnold was the worst QB in the league and needed to be replaced. Beginning to sense a pattern here.
  9. Yep so many teams opted out of bowl games this year they had to go down to 5 win teams, and most of them opted out
  10. Jackson has outplayed him when you consider passes defended and holding/pass interference calls. I think Jackson has 1 call against him while Horn has either 7 or 8 - and worse of all, they always seem to come on third downs.
  11. I'm not really into conspiracy theories. It may be more along the lines that we overvalue him and inflate his ability because of the logo, instead of some sort of nefarious character flaw.
  12. It was a team loss, because it's a team game. I even admitted so in the above post. That does not deflect or shield a player or players for their role in that loss. Horn's penalty and Hubbard's fumble were super costly. What was your intent on starting this thread with an All-22 pass play? Did you honestly think there would be no controversy around Bryce? Then go on to say if anyone disagrees they are 100% anti-Bryce. Really? I've stated over and over again my position on Bryce. At this point, he's not the pre-benching '24 Bryce, that guy is largely gone. However, his ceiling is game manager level for like 80% of his outings, that being middling...10% really good and 10% awful. That's not my idea of a franchise QB. The notion that we just have to maximize everything around him to nudge him above game manager level is not only unrealistic, but one sided...literally. The defense has taken a back seat as a priority on this team, yet we complain about it. How many die hard NFL fans can name anyone on our defense outside of Brown and Horn? Heck most fair weather Panthers fan couldn't either.
  13. People have genuinely ignored the fact that Horn is having a very underwhelming season overall. The INT's are way up but a lot of the other metrics have not been very kind. He has had a disappointing year overall by his standards.
  14. their pass defense is good but not that good. they are giving up on average 198 yards passing per gamd which is higher than byoungs average per game. their pass defense is basically the same as the panthers pass d
  15. Steelers vs. Ravens is a bit of a slap fight too. Neither of those teams is going anywhere.
  16. At the time this thread was made I thought it was a little sensationalist. Now…
  17. Did the same thing against the Jets as well. Had a walk in TD had he kept it outside but inside cut inside and we settled for 3
  18. I don't really believe in stepping stones from season to season. Not on a team level. Every season is its own unique thing. We are currently at 8 wins and there is a decent chance we will stay at 8 wins. There is a decent chance we will get to 9 wins instead. We have gotten fortunate in a couple of games, and we have taken advantage of situations in some games. Nothing wrong with that, and that's how the ball bounces sometimes. We can equally thank the Bucs for being a complete dumpster fire in the 2nd half of the season for how we are still in contention past Thanksgiving.
  19. Horn also botched the jet sweep yesterday and ran straight into a defender when it should have been an easy first down.
  20. Win I can’t watch the bucs back there way into another NFCS title
  21. The draft position is completely irrelevant to us without being serious about wanting a starting QB in the 1st and win or lose we aren't in that position of the draft, regardless. Our draft struggles are always evaluation and not position based. We should be able to get a very good player anywhere from 16 to 32, provided we evaluate properly. Win the game. Why? How about fug the fuging Bucs and their fair weather, Brady Jersey wearing retard fans? Bragging about being the shortest midget for years now. fug them sideways. Win. The. Game.
  22. No but it’s a pretty good stepping stone for the 2nd season of a rebuild. We weren’t supposed to go to the playoffs or Super Bowl this year. We were supposed to finish 6-8 wins and not be eliminated by Thanksgiving. We have surpassed that.
  23. Rhule also had 2 superior qbs and blew it with both darnold and baker. I do honestly think we would be a lot better with either of those 2 plus Canales. Darnold, baker>>>> young Canales/Morgan >>>>>> rhule, Wilks, fitterer Just look at what happened to the vikings this year when they went with a qb that sucks. You can qb whisper all you want but doesn't matter if the qb is deaf. We need a new qb period But I fully expect to lose next week and lose the division but the bucs will get blasted out of the playoffs immediately
  24. Horn messed up in that Jets game where he flattened out his route for no reason which almost resulted in a INT then in that Saints game he didn’t think he was supposed to get that hand off resulting in a costly fumble I think he’s not too far behind XL with the in between the ears issues but had it not been for those two hiccups he probably be seeing the field more by now Agree on Coker btw. That’ll hurt some feelings around here but he’s pretty damn reliable/dependable which is something Bryce’s game is dependant on being an anticipation type thrower
  25. If we play Seattle or San Francisco I think we will have a chance because we have seen them before and maybe won’t be as dipshit nervous. The Rams will beat us into the pavement as punishment from last time.
