Going for 2 when you need 8 to win is one thing. When you need 3, 2 point conversions to even tie the game is nearly impossible. They would need to score 4 times to win the game regardless. Going for 2 at that point was idiotic because missing just 1 puts back to needing to score 4 touchdowns anyway. It was dumb then and it is still dumb now.

That's true but that's not considering the other variables that would happen the rest of the game. The defense would be more likely to cause a turnover and get the ball back than you would converting 3 two-point conversions.

Following up on this, it's gonna be interesting if their D continues to dominate or if teams start to adjust after getting more film on them. That DC is in his bag right now getting an amazing shiny new toy to play with on the eve of the season kicking off. He's just gonna be a step ahead of the competition for awhile until they figure out how adding that new chess piece is impacting how he deploys his defense. I think they'll probably tail off a little once more film is out but I still think they're gonna prove to be one of if not the best defense in the league.

I'm not seeing a single win the way they've played so far. Atlanta is playing better than us out of the gate so im not seeing it. There's too much that has to change on this team to have a chance. I was thinking 0-5 starting the season. After that it's dust off your resume time in BOA.

I've said before that I wanted Tepper to hand the whole thing over to Kevin Colbert. If he could finagle Ozzie Newsome (who I think still has some kind of consultant role with the Ravens) though, I could go for that too.

Well the team being as bad as they've been early in the season aside we're 14-27 at home over the last 5 years. At this point just seeing a competitive game from the Panthers for 4 quarters would be a small miracle.

I suspect we will still end up in the 4 to 7 win range. It's unlikely we do actually go 0-17, although it's certainly possible.

We have always done things the hard way. It's due to a lack of leadership and vision. They solely rely on pure luck and they don't have any.
