To the OP, I don't think we're "stuck" with Bryce for 3-5 years. No, IF he continues to play well, then we see him back and competition brought in for 2026. If Bryce lays a BUNCH of turds out there, then you have to move on. Period. Ideally, I'd love to see aggressive, fire in his gut Bryce Young out there. If that's the guy we have, then we have a shot at being meaningful. This was always the year Bryce either proves himself worthy of the 5th year and possible extension or that he's just not the guy for the job here. Realistically, I think the Panthers are going to go with him and competition next spring. If Bryce wins, great! If competition wins, great! But they can't delude themselves thinking that Bryce has arrived. I get that the team is really behind Bryce. There's meaning there. But if he's not doing his best to win the games, playing safe, that's just not enough.

Two bad games in a row for Jaycee.

I'm for whatever it takes to make him play like he belongs in the league.

lol no, sorry, but just no. Yes, I agree, an elite WR is more valuable than an RB, but CMC isn't a RB. He's a true offensive weapon who is just different than almost any RB before him, he's legitimately the best pass catching RB of all time. Having a player who can do what he does is way more valuable than any WR you can have, if you throw health concerns aside (and current age), there isn't a non QB offensive player in the entire NFL that I'd take before CMC if building a team for one season right now. CMC is looking at a first ballot HOF career, I don't care how good T-Mac looks, or how big of a fan you are of him (c'mon, just look at who is making this particular post), there is no logical way to make an argument at the moment that T-Mac has a chance at being a better player than CMC. That's not to say he can't of course, anything can happen, but if T-Mac ends up a better player than CMC, than he's going to be a no brainer first ballot HOFer, which is just insane to predict for any player 11 games into their career, I don't care who they are or what they've done during said rookie season. If they re-did the 2017 draft, CMC actually moves up in the draft and would go 3rd or 4th after Mahomes, Garrett, and then I think there would actually be a possible debate of him vs TJ Watt. Notably given your argument, he'd still for sure be drafted over Cooper Kupp.

Canales needs to let White Mike get some reps with the ones this week, just to make Bryce thinks his seat is still hot. Brink of benching Bryce is the best Bryce. (some more alliteration for y'all)

dude the worst no call yesterday was the panthers DB decapitating a falcons WR on 3rd down in the 2nd half. -
They need to win badly 7 point spread West coast trip Terrible horrible defense Not totally undoable
-
CMC will have a Smitty on the Ravens vs Panthers type of performance. 150+ yards from scrimmage and 2 TDs I'm done trying to predict what our own team will do, this is the most unpredictable Panthers team I can remember

History indicates we typically poo the bed in prime time games.

you had a MACI too? nice man. they did a lateral release on me too so i've got 3 screws in there. I'm back to squatting over 300 7 months out. i just got fitted for my skiing brace. those things cost like 2k normally but i crushed my deductible. 120k surgery i paid 10gs for lmao the system works.

i think you're probably right.

Game wrecking WRs are HARD to find and they almost never hit the free market in their prime. There is a reason why brinks trucks show up come contract time. It’s just a much more valuable position where the best are still breaking defenses long after an RB has reached his expiration date. Is Tet going to be a better football player than CMC? Don’t know, yet to be seen. That’s a really high bar as CMC looks like he’s headed for the HOF. I’m looking at the value side. If/when Tet turns in to a top 10 wr and they pick up his 5th yr option, will they flinch at turning him in to a 100 million dollar man? Absolutely not. Should you do that with CMC? Absolutely not. Would you extend Tet in yr 9 for 2 more years if he’s still that guy? Damn right you would. It’s not saying who the better player is. It’s what’s the better pick. WR > RB.

I'm pretty sure that happened when he got bent back like a pretzel, adrenaline kept him playing once that wore off it was an wrap.
-
I still have no idea outside of pure adrenaline how he got up from that hi-lo hit where he got bent backwards yesterday.
