  1. Past hour
  2. In theory year three of a head coach with a qb still essentially on his rookie deal the year after making the playoffs is when a team is poised from a talent and financial position to make a big run. Obviously, Canales runs the weakest offense in the nfl, Bryce is Bryce, and their playoff was the reward for their lose and get in game Plus he’s not even starting unless something unforeseen happens Draft lineman all day, draft UGA players all day, it’s fine. He’ll be a good nfl player. But this team needed an impact day one first round nfl defensive starter, and they got a developmental tackle.
  3. This was the right pick and the best possible outcome that could have happened. They were fortunate that Freeling was there honestly. Only 1 tackle taken before him is a possible LT and that guy doesn't have the upside Freeling has. Also Freeling has a much higher floor. This was an awesome pick.
  4. Sounds like offense unless a coveted defender slides.
  5. I’m a Georgia fan. I’ve watched almost every snap of this kids career. Hell be fine. But he’s not Broderick jones or anything he’s not throwing around Alabama players this is the wrong player at the wrong time for where the team should theoretically be. and if we’re prognosticating potential tackle injuries, this is less about ickey and more about Moton.
  6. There was a pretty strong Huddle consensus that 19 would ne a pick to artificially prop up Bryce so they can justify the trade for him i.e. Sadiq, Concepcion or another WR. Freeling is not that.
  7. How is any of this “win now mode”? We’re not even sold on the QB and head coach long term but need to draft immediate starters? Make it make sense.
  8. As much as I would like to go ILB I think you have to heavily consider Delp or one of the other best available wide receivers too. We don't need to get panicky and desperate trying to trade up. Just let the chips fall where they may.
  9. So he was a starting OL on a team that run the ball well. Noted thanks
  10. You hope. Though I still wonder why we took Wallace over Wilson in 24.
  11. Is this a serious question? LB S DL RB OL This was the 29th best offense in the NFL last year that has about 1 1/2 offensive weapons.
  12. At fuging Georgia dude, come on. they run the ball 45 times a game.
  13. I don't believe Hall's hit was intentionally high. He turned his shoulder just as Sanderson was starting to reach for the puck, so his head was a little lower. If Hall gets suspended, Bonehead #7 should as well for his elbow head shot on Martinook.
  14. He gave up the lowest pressure % in college football. What else are you looking for exactly?
  15. This clearly shows that Dan Morgan to his credit knows that the OL salary we are sitting on is completely unsustainable. Going forward OL and DL need to be addressed each draft.
  16. We def need OL as we seemingly always do and more protection for Young the better and some of our offseason moves help the defense with great potential both are former 1st round picks we got simply with money which is a high reward potential for not much of a risk adding those LBs. Even if we double dipped on the line with our 2nd rounder I wouldn't even mind that.
  17. I love his attitude he's got a great head on his shoulders to go along with his physical gifts.
  18. Highest ceiling of any OL in this draft? these guys think so.
  19. Year four of still affordable “franchise” qb is definitely when you draft swing tackles that won’t be able to start the first year. The panthers are technically in win now mode I’m a UGA fan. He’ll be fine but he’s not ready. This feels panicky to me.
  20. I see that. I have the same concerns. Maugioa is a beast--the second best OL in the draft. Is he the best OT? I read articles about him being moved inside (and the Utah OT is a RT or Guard)--Proctor has some issues as well--If you recall, I wrote about the flaws of the OTs at the top of the draft, which is why I assumed we were not drafting OT in round 1, especially after signing Walker. So I get it. However, as a freak and considering his age, maybe he develops quickly and our OL guru can bring him along. I have a feeling he will be thrown into the fire before he realizes it.
  21. Maugioa was probably my favorite after what I saw. Watching freeling I immediately saw the flaws and didn't think it was worth taking over an immediate starter.
  22. I 'd rather have a 21-year old with questionable technique issues than a 23-year old player with limited physical attributes. Most OTs have mechanical issues when they enter the league. The three tackles drafted before Freeling at #9, #10, and #12 have mechanical issues as well--but they are not the athlete and they lack the physical attributes Freeling has. In four years, Freeling will be 25 and elite, in my view. In four years, the others drafted before Freeling might easily be guards.
