Official Panthers Roster Cuts (Updated)

You're HIRED, great moves! -
He was talking about Renfrow.
-
That was true as well, you'd by now Id know better. But each pre-season I fall for the new hype.....
-
lol nah. Some gymnastics here to do the standard Panthers have to be right……and that almost always goes wrong. it’s not a devastating health issue….when you get diagnosed and figure out what is wrong….and now feel good. Hunter Renfrow was not running a slant. They threw a slant. That was the INT. Renfrow was clearly setting up his cut. Clear body language of that pick shows him setting it up. Renfrow is better than Moore. Renfrow also does something no one else on this roster does….which this team lacks. It’s standard Panthers being the Panthers. Making easy hard

FYI Muma was the 3rd round pick sent in the CJ Henderson trade.....talk about both teams taking the hard L.........but Panthers could suuuure use muma, he'd step right in to the top backup role........Id even take him over Bam player for player... -

Wavier claims: 1. Chad Muma 2. Brayden Swinson 3. Greg Dulich Look to sign to PS: WR Jalen Brooks RB Raheem Sanders QB Kyle McCord DE Julian Okowara -
All the stuff about Horn being uncoverable were from the practices without pads. That said, I still think he could develop in to a player over time.

Jags cut Muma, LB Chad Muma was a third-round pick in 2022 who played as a rotational linebacker for three years with the Jags. He was largely a special-teams contributor, playing about 150 more snaps there than on defense during his career. With a new regime in Jacksonville, he gets cut ahead of the final year of his rookie contract. This 2022 Wyoming alum and 3rd rounder put up 94 tackles and 1.5 sacks in his 3 seasons in Jacksonville. Career seemed DOA as he was drafted the same year the Jags traded back into the 1st to grab Devin Lloyd. -
Thanks for dropping by BP. Always appreciated your work.

Jeremy Fowler @JFowlerESPN Asante Samuel Jr., one of the top free agent corners in this year’s class, is waiting to sign with a new team after undergoing neck surgery in April, per sources. Samuel, who visited the Saints today, has a check-up in early July, after which he will reconvene with several interested teams. Samuel plans to return to the field for the 2025 season. -
Those guys were great, especially Smith. Smith especially excelled at catching the ball and controlling his body at the same time (I remember a toe tapping sideline catch against the Bears that was just amazing), or getting open and burning the defender. I just think that in terms of just coming down with the ball, Thielen is probably the best I have seen in a Panthers uniform. If Tmac and Coker can continue to improve, Thielen then I imagine Thielen will get weaker coverage against him, and it will help him even more. Might get fewer catches, but more YPC.

We'll know something fairly quickly. Once again opening the season with back to back road games. On the one hand it sucks. But on the other hand I'd rather it be this way. -
Bold move....... I know he wanted to be here and bless his heart cause of all those 5 win season during his career. Still- 20 for Motwon, Hunt, and Lewis????????? How does Ickys 20-30 fit????? Jesus this is a 5 win roster with no cap space..... and they need to either pay a QB or start over.......why?!?!?!?

I do think Dan may claim 1-3, so 2 is a safe bet. originally thought he wouldnt claim anyone, then I seen the TE, OLB, LB, and DL groups....there more adjusting needed. -
Just goes to show, any pre season feel-good puff-piece, 9 outta 10 times is some fuggin bullshite
-
Kyle Trash. Their GM has been very good at drafting, but using a failure at QB in the 2nd round while you had Tom Brady as QB was not the the right move. Add a weapon or defense play maker in the 2nd, that guy was terrible.
