  1. Past hour
  2. for those who can't see the Twitter post, I'm assuming this post is about the list published in February with Greg and TD? https://sports.yahoo.com/10-great-nfl-players-eligible-035121461.html
  3. Luke's gonna get screwed again. fug the HOF's new format.
  4. Steve Smith also had the dropsies (among other things) in his first two seasons as a pro. It goes to show that you can work on your craft and you'll get better at it. As for XL, hey, he could be another Steve Smith or another R. Jay Soward. Probably somewhere in between.
  5. Didn't Hubbard get jacked up in a joint practice last year and a big scuffle started?
  6. Is this the only video? I saw that you had said TikToks but all I can find is the one you linked.
  7. https://youtu.be/PM09IUM6n3I I really don't care, and agree with the Panthers promotion, but this is what I'm talking about.
  8. I got Luke in before 89 or Cam I still think Luke is technically our best player. He just played ILB which isn't a premium spot.
  9. Didn't like the hit by line backer. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/article/fight-breaks-panthers-training-camp-162046687.html
  10. Well, at least you know how to embed them. I still haven't figured it out since the transition.
  11. It's pretty much a disgrace that the voting rule change didn't allow Luke to be first ballot. fug you Deion
  12. IDK. Predicting how good has been the biggest issue by a pretty wide margin.
  13. All of his viral moments have come from other people recording him, not his own self promotion. The NFL selected him to go to the derby also. He isn't pursuing any of that, and he has also shown up to player-organized workouts. I'm happy for him. The league often overlooks and dismisses Panthers players, so seeing one of our guys not just being out there but actually being promoted is a nice change of pace.
  14. Today
  15. yall are reading way to much in to this, all he said was I took my hands for granted last season because he's never had an issue with them and that's not how you continue to get better at the NFL level.
  16. 89 will be the next Panther in, and might be the only one for a very very long time. I think Kuechly has an outside shot. He would be a lock had he kept playing.
  17. Looks like Chuba and Tevin Wallace got a little scuffle (2) Carolina Blitz on X: "Chuba Hubbard left practice with a bump on his head, likely courtesy of Trevin Wallace. https://t.co/745BiO18mH" / X
  18. As someone once said of Chris Collinsworth as a player, "If they had a hall of the really, really good, he'd be in there." As much as we love them, TD and Greg probably aren't getting the gold jackets, unless Greg gets it for broadcasting way down the line. Both were excellent players, and heroes locally, but not on the national note HoF level of Pep, Luke, Smitty or Cam (eventually).
  19. I dont think Canales wants or needs a full time fullback for his system. That being said, Tommy Tremble has been used as a H-Back/ hybrid fullback some. Dominique Dafney (who could make this team if we keep 4 TEs or is Tremble starts the season on PUP, also has experience playing H-Back. But yeah, I've been rewatching some games from '03- '08 recently, and Brad Hoover was sneaky good in helping our RBs succeed. We also used Tolbert as fullback some. Offense goes in cycles, but yeah right now, fullback is not really valued at all in the NFL.
  20. Thanks for keeping this going @Icege. You're a real one!!
  21. The Carolina Panthers announced a pair of moves ahead of their work on Monday. Defensive lineman Bobby Brown III and punter Sam Martin were activated from the non-football injury list this morning. Brown and Martin, both of whom were shelved due to minor hamstring injuries before the start of training camp last week, are now cleared to join the team on the practice field. Brown III signed a three-year, $21 million deal this past spring. The 6-foot-4, 332-pounder spent his first and prior four NFL campaigns with the Los Angeles Rams—amassing 84 combined tackles (nine for a loss), half a sack, two quarterback hits and one pass defensed over 49 games. Martin also landed in Carolina out of free agency, on a one-year pact worth up to $3 million. He split his previous 12 pro seasons between the Detroit Lions (2013 to 2019), the Denver Broncos (2020 to 2021) and the Buffalo Bills (2022 to 2024). https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/07/28/panthers-training-camp-dl-bobby-brown-p-sam-martin-activated/85405622007/?taid=6887bab0d1a7730001f563dc&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter
  22. Sadly neither make it. I think the only player that the Panthers have that could would be Kuechly.
  23. A lot of love for TMacs catch over Jackson but the clip is love is XL blazing by Horn
  24. This. They're Panthers greats, but not HOFers and that's fine. They were great players and can hold their head high regarding their careers. Both had a chance to have HOF careers though. TD had much of his prime robbed by three ACL injuries and Olsen was a late bloomer who had to get out of Chicago to blossom. He was basically a JAG for the first five years of his career before he became the player he was expected to be.
