  1. Past hour
  2. The next time Legette scores, I want to see the whole team ridin' Dollar Bill in the endzone!!!
  3. It's kinda true but also kinda not true. He did rely on his physical gifts to dominate in the NFL, and everyone thought he'd eventually have to learn how to play from the pocket instead of running. But instead, his shoulder gets completely fuged by injuries before his athleticism started to decline.
  4. He should retire, but I could see him signing somewhere else for a year before he does.
  5. When I analyze any one and aby player, i look at his body of work. This includes what made Bryce the number one pick in the draft notnjust by our franchise, but also by experts everywhere. While he struggled his first season, and didn't have his confidence at the beginning of this season, since returning to the field he has played with confidence. He has played well, and made the big plays routinely that he made in college. Say what you want about his struggles as a pro, but the young man has what it takes to not just play the position, but to excell at it. You can choose to be cautious all you like, but his body of work tells me he's going to be fine. I'm looking forward to seeing him excell at spreading the ball around, making this offense nit just fun to watch, but challenging for even the best defenses to stop.
  6. It's 2025 and people are still saying this? Cam's not playing anymore because Kelvin Benjamin is a lazy ass WR and TJ Watt targeted his shoulder.
  7. Today
  8. You dont know me. Stop pretending you do. God Bless.
  9. I fully believe Nikishin is more than capable, but there is something to be said for team chemistry and NHL playoff experience. I mean if the decision was made to sit Burns, we have the ideal guy to pair with Nikishin as well in Slavin so there's that. Since we are talking about Burnsy, does he go one more year or retire?
  10. What I saw was huge improvement going from terrible to one of the top 10 qbs by year end. I don't just want good play, I want continued improvement as he spends year 2 in the same system with the same guys (with a few upgrades) and Canales goes into year 2 as a head coach. I want Bryce to continue to show that he is worthy of the top pick in the draft. I think I will be disappointed if he is just good unless he keep getting better as he goes. He is finally got the talent and coaching he needs. Given how chaotic Tepper'reign has been, I think we have really lowered our expectations. Which is totally understandable to avoid abject disappointment each year.
  11. I am confident he'll be fine this year. That's also not hard to understand.
  12. We offered him $25k signing bonus and $225 guaranteed (including bonus) to sign as a UDFA. By making the team and doing well because he joined a team where he could, get this, start some and get almost 500 yards, guess how much he made in just 2024 and 2025? Over $1.7M. So, you really think he went for the most UDFA money or a place where the WR corps would allow him to make an NFL team and earn 8 times the UDFA money in his first two years and potentially cement himself for an even bigger payday of 2026 and beyond. Hmm, I wonder. I think seeing as he was the only UDFA RB, TE or WR to have over 158 yards (didn’t pay to see more stats muse, could have been even lower), he made the right choice on where to go to maximize earnings. Sorry again, but if you really think UDFAs and their agents prefer the small bonus/UDFA guarantee and don’t think about the easiest place to make the team, you’re wrong again. The $$$ you get just by making the team is way more and could get you multiple years. Choose a team you can’t make and your career can be over in one offseason.
  13. And that is actually the concern. Great qbs put together FULL seasons of good ball. There is no benching to clear your head or taking a break. Are we gonna get a full season of good play this year? It's really not hard to understand.
  14. rookies coming in for the first time at the end of the week. Won't get much news, but some pics and some interviews (hopefully) Carolina Panthers Rookie minicamp: May 9-10 OTA offseason workouts: May 27-28, May 30, June 2-3, June 5 Mandatory minicamp: June 10-12
  15. I honestly think XL will step up this year. Drafting another WR will be great for competition and I think his best days are ahead
  16. Bryce has a horrible rookie year Huddle: poor guy needs an o line and some wr Panthers get him an o line and wr Half the huddle: man he sucks since he can't do anything without an o line or wr ( even tho all world mahomes looked mediocre with no o line and only a hof te and mediocre wr - even tho they've drafted a wr in the 1st, 2 in the 2nd and 1 in the 4th in the last 4 years)
  17. The Panthers upgraded the offensive talent so that the PANTHERS could win football games. The offense now a ton of talent and DEPTH. Ask any coach/GM if they could have a dominating offense or defense which would they choose? Of the 2, it’s offense all day. Eagles don’t sniff the SB without Barkley. Home run hitter. 3 and out insurance policy. Defense stays fresh. It’s not the other way around. Far more games are won converting on thirds than stops on third. Dominating defenses are there to seal the deal. 2003 went from SB to suck from losing their WR1. 2005 was an almost. 2015 went from dominating to never again. Never a back to back winning season. Revolving door coaches. No true offensive depth and talent, EVER. Now that the offense looks loaded, the same fans who pounded the table for #1 to get some DUDES again remind everyone how misused and cheated he was… well he was and everyone knows it. The coaching was bad. System. Talent…. Bad, except for a few players. Bad. Could he have developed in to a more complete player with better everything. Yes…. But good lord get over it. This is not righting the wrongs of the past because that is not possible. This is trying to win games in the NFL, the way everyone else is doing it. Will BY throw for more yards and TDs this year than Cam did in 2015. Very likely. But so what. I hope he does. I hope all of Cam and Jakes records are obliterated one day because it will likely mean the Panthers are winning more football games. To feel otherwise is obtuse. Defense was not and is not being ignored. What Dan and Dave have accomplished in 2 off seasons with the offense is nothing short of a miracle. They obviously know what a grown ass football player looks like. What logical reason is there that indicates they can’t/won’t do the same on defense.
  18. The last time I loved the Panthers was 2017; they broke my heart in 2018 and have just been my side piece every since then. Ya know, show some interest when I have an urge and ambivalent the rest of the time.
  19. Bryce can be average to above average and lead us to great seasons and a Super Bowl. How many QBs have won a superbowl ring and not been that fantastic that day and relied on the rest of the team. Or played average all year and elevated their game in the playoffs? The team wins or loses and it isn't dependent on the qb to be all world. What I see is hopefully a team that runs the ball and passes when they need to. I think Bryce showed when the pressure is on he now steps up where before he crumpled. Teams who blitzed him at the end of the year paid the price which is huge. It isn't total stats but how you do on third down and making big throws when everyone knows you are going to pass. I think that transfers from year to year and improves with a strengthening cast and experience. And something he did consistently in college.
  20. You are supposed to leave us guessing and say Google that poo
  21. Never put Horn and break in the same sentence. Thank you.
  22. Possibly, but luck was ultimately on Bryce's side because offensive injures started to rack up and Dalton looked exposed after that Raiders game. Remember, Thielen went down for several weeks during that Dalton stretch and the O-line had some bumps and bruises. Just about the time Bryce was inserted back into the lineup everyone started to get healthy.
  23. I find it funny those who continue to hate on Bryce based on his rookie year when he had zero weapons or offensive line have a problem with those of us projecting his career from the 8-9 games where he played like a top 10 QB and made more big time throws during that period than any other QB. The stats may not have been there in terms of yards or TD passes but that’s coming as the roster improves. For those who think physical traits can overcome roster deficiencies we all witnessed how Mahomes looked under pressure that Bryce faced for most of his rookie year, we saw what happened with Stroud when he faced less than ideal circumstances. None of us were creating posts proclaiming Bryce as the next Brady but we can’t just sit idly while thread after thread is created continuing with the anti Bryce tropes instead of supporting him and just letting him continue to develop.
  24. To me Bryce's ceiling is his backup, Andy Dalton, in his prime. Sure, he may get us some winning seasons and may even get us to the playoffs on occasion, but with an early exit. To me he doesn't have what it takes to be elite and it takes an elite QB to consistently get deep into the playoffs. He's not Jackson, he's not Mahomes and he's not even Allen. In an organization like Philly, he possibly could have what it takes to make a deep run, but let's face it...Philly is well oiled machine and and we are a GMC Grimlin.
  25. If he was he would still be in the league.... Cam never learned to play QB without relying on his athletism and rocket arm.
