In our last 2 wins the offense had to put over 30 or more points (actually 24 against the Rams since we had a pick 6, but Bryce threw 3 TDs that game with 0 turnovers so I'm not blaming that on him). I'm not sure that falls on the QB not putting away the other team. The defense is easily exposed against decent offenses. Just throw over the middle.

Dumping on Icky to cover for our #1 pick being outplayed by a rookie is such embarrassing foolishness.

All of this. People mention that Ickey penalty in the first or second quarter. I’ve seen a few say that stopped all our momentum, and was a reason the offense couldn’t get going. If all it took was that to completely stymy Bryce and the offense, then the QB and offense isn’t very good. Now, it was a boneheaded play, but that happened in the first half. Your QB has to be able to move on from that Another thing is the sacks. Once Bryce takes a sack, or we get a penalty of any kind, then that drive is over. Bryce and the offense cannot overcome it. On that last 4th quarter drive, I knew we weren’t going to do anything with the football, but after the sack, I knew it was wrap. The Saints are in Bryce’s head, and he’s a QB that has to build up confidence. Hell, Tampa is in his head. He’s 0-4 against them. That’s why I can say with confidence we won’t sweep them.

It's either a blow out loss, respectable loss, close loss or a nail-biting last minute win. Bryce has exactly ONE, you know, a notch up form zero, comfortable wins. We all know it was that first Falcons game early this season. This man has 2-3 big boy throws a game and 2-3 NFL above average games a season at this rate. Tell me how this is sustainable? It isn't.

Icky didn't do well on the play, but I find it hard to believe Bryce doesn't at least sense that pressure from Chase Young in his periphery. With the area of the field he is looking + Moton blocking his guy and forcing him into a deep pass rush, I don't know how Bryce doesn't see the 20 yards of open space directly in front of him.... Like 90% of QBs recognize that open space and immediately run

I have seen byoungs hit called and not called several times. Never seen the shough hit not called. I dont understand why defenders essentially aim for the ground on these qbs sliding just run through the tackle and this is not an issue. But scoring 17 points as an O against the saints was pitiful.

I think the thing that stands out the most is that people keep having to find other people's mistakes to justify why Bryce Young doesn't win or play well. Because other strating QB's in the NFL have ample adversity and somehow manage to overcome it on not such a rare basis. Untimely penalties, drops, defensive lapses, bad calls, etc. Also, they get heat for consistently failing to win, even with this situations. But it's always not Bryce's fault for even being in those bad situations in the first place. Boy it's funny how that works out....
