  1. Past hour
  2. In our last 2 wins the offense had to put over 30 or more points (actually 24 against the Rams since we had a pick 6, but Bryce threw 3 TDs that game with 0 turnovers so I'm not blaming that on him). I'm not sure that falls on the QB not putting away the other team. The defense is easily exposed against decent offenses. Just throw over the middle.
  3. Dumping on Icky to cover for our #1 pick being outplayed by a rookie is such embarrassing foolishness.
  4. This truly has been a recurring theme this year. Once we get to 1st and 15 or worse, it's a guaranteed punt or turnover
  5. How do you get that fat with a coke problem him and Billy Joel I swear
  6. Our gameplan was do the exact thing we did against the Saints the first time when we lost and the result was we lost to the Saints again...
  7. All of this. People mention that Ickey penalty in the first or second quarter. I’ve seen a few say that stopped all our momentum, and was a reason the offense couldn’t get going. If all it took was that to completely stymy Bryce and the offense, then the QB and offense isn’t very good. Now, it was a boneheaded play, but that happened in the first half. Your QB has to be able to move on from that Another thing is the sacks. Once Bryce takes a sack, or we get a penalty of any kind, then that drive is over. Bryce and the offense cannot overcome it. On that last 4th quarter drive, I knew we weren’t going to do anything with the football, but after the sack, I knew it was wrap. The Saints are in Bryce’s head, and he’s a QB that has to build up confidence. Hell, Tampa is in his head. He’s 0-4 against them. That’s why I can say with confidence we won’t sweep them.
  8. I'll keep saying it until I'm blue in the face because y'all are not reading between the lines on these 11 GWDs. Wow, that sounds amazing, 11 GWDs!!! Sometimes stats need some context beyond the surface. The deeper dive is Bryce cannot put games away early enough to keep from these last minute victories. This is completely unsustainable. It's either a blow out loss, respectable loss, close loss or a nail-biting last minute win. Bryce has exactly ONE, you know, a notch up form zero, comfortable wins. We all know it was that first Falcons game early this season. This man has 2-3 big boy throws a game and 2-3 NFL above average games a season at this rate. Tell me how this is sustainable? It isn't.
  9. He stepped away from the media (part due to bad PR, part due to the league forcing him to after throwing a drink and checking a bar owner for a sign they put up). Do you believe for a second that he just magically backed off behind the scenes and does not have his weekly meetings with the Gm and Coach?
  10. Icky didn't do well on the play, but I find it hard to believe Bryce doesn't at least sense that pressure from Chase Young in his periphery. With the area of the field he is looking + Moton blocking his guy and forcing him into a deep pass rush, I don't know how Bryce doesn't see the 20 yards of open space directly in front of him.... Like 90% of QBs recognize that open space and immediately run
  11. Dude Tepper hasn’t been around like the last two years. You’re brining up stuff from half a decade ago lol New owner hires two guys that sound like they know what they are doing (Rhule/Fitterer) they do significant damage to the team and he’s trusting real football guys (Morgan/Tillis) to fix it, and you expect it to be done already.
  12. Def not rigged. I would agree that the quality of the games in general has DRASTICALLY gone down in recent years, though. And a lot of that has to do with the refs.
  13. Tepper will always be the root of the problem. That poo hasn't changed at all, nor do I expect it to. I remember when delusional Redskins fans thought that Snyder had gotten better when he stepped away and let the football people do their thing. Then he came back and got involved directly again because it "wasn't fun." Ah...good ol David Snyder.
  14. Nobody thought that. They thought he did good with struggling QBs. This is a tall order
  15. Haven't read thread yet ... but I'M so tired of reading people say the game is rigged or the refs are in on it ... when we lose. But never when we win lol.
  16. Well, people credit(ridiculously) that Baker's time here spurred some sort of career turnaround(also ludicrous). Maybe we put Bryce as scout team DE for the remainder of the season and see what happens?
  17. watch them in slow mo bryce was still on his feet when saints defender makes first contact, shough had his but on the ground when panthers defender launched himself and made contact directly to shoughs head. I have seen byoungs hit called and not called several times. Never seen the shough hit not called. I dont understand why defenders essentially aim for the ground on these qbs sliding just run through the tackle and this is not an issue. But scoring 17 points as an O against the saints was pitiful.
  18. I think the thing that stands out the most is that people keep having to find other people's mistakes to justify why Bryce Young doesn't win or play well. Because other strating QB's in the NFL have ample adversity and somehow manage to overcome it on not such a rare basis. Untimely penalties, drops, defensive lapses, bad calls, etc. Also, they get heat for consistently failing to win, even with this situations. But it's always not Bryce's fault for even being in those bad situations in the first place. Boy it's funny how that works out....
  19. He’s clearly got a lower back problem and a bad hip And I’m glad
  20. I am going to go out on a limb and say that this team will Never win a playoff game with BY as the quarterback.
