I’m not sure how anyone could expect us to net anything more than a 4th rounder for a 35 year old wide receiver honestly a little bummed bc of his importance to the team the last few years and as a vet in the WR room, but from a strictly football perspective I don’t think it’s a bad trade.

Not really. My point is that we reached for a qb we shouldn't have when we didn't have the pieces in place for him to succeed. They look at it as a pick swap. In 2026 they swap a conditional 7th for a 5th In 2027 they swap a 5th round for a fourth round

We got a fourth for the oldest receiver in the league. It’s honestly a pretty good return, and everyone’s concern over losing a well-past-his-prime Adam Thielen is just evidence of how far the standards of this franchise have fallen. T-Mac, Coker, and XL can carry the load. Looking forward to seeing the new-look offense.
