  1. Past hour
  2. 15 of 10!!! I will be there in Jacksonville, so that may have something to do with it! Soooo Pumped!!
  3. I'm cautiously optimistic but I'm hedged against last year's week 1 repeat. If its miserable at least I'll probably win something.
  4. You do know that most NFL players have to manage chronic wear-and-tear-related injuries once they get into their late 20s, right? This isn't unusual. There's a difference between long-term management and dealing with a major injury. Do you think they'd have paid him this much if they hadn't had the knee thoroughly examined and were comfortable with what they found? Honestly?
  5. Right......I know some of y'all just hate the FO but that not plausible at all. If they were really worried about his knee to that level they are not giving him 40MM guaranteed. LMAO, get real fellas.
  6. He missed one game late in the year when it didn’t matter due to his knee(s). If you don’t think the Panthers considered his overall physical health before signing this extension, then you should probably give up following them, because you consider them less capable than many DIII programs.
  7. I don’t think this has anything to do with Renfrow. The question is do you think XL or Coker can step up and be WR2. Renfrow and Horn are your slot guys. Maybe we keep Moore if ATis gone? That gives you some vets and Moore plays special teams right?
  8. Ahhh much better should have done this to chuck a long time ago.
  9. A doctor can't tell you how things are going to go with a chronic issue that's largely about pain management. Something one person can deal with another can't and it's not really about pain tolerance as much as it is just variance from one individual to the next. One person can be dealing with an issue that the images look like he should be barely getting around and he's actually doing alright. Another person can be dealing with an issue that doesn't look all that bad in images but he's practically crippled with pain. The best indicator is how things have been progressing and last year things took a considerable turn for the worst so obviously we decided to pay him. LOL
  10. Tepper's gonna fire me if the current roster takes the field for 17 games, so now its time for a Madden trade. Hold my beer.
  11. Looks like people in the Panthers reddit forum with inside sources say the trade is a done deal, but don't know the return yet.
  12. Yeah, I think you are. In terms of how professional athletes think about these things another contract and years of play are basically the same thing. And I'm not saying it's not a concern; just that I don't think we decide to extend him without thoroughly examining his knee and having confidence it wouldn't be a major issue for the life of the contract.
  13. That's where I'm at. Let's see what the lineup looks like on Sunday of Week 1.
  14. Ahhhh gotcha thought you meant this year. Yeah those dumb fitt void years.
  15. I'm curious to see what we would get and which teams are interested. And yes his value here is at times ridiculously overstated.
  16. He had a 4.8m cap hit for 2026 on his last deal from it being a void year.
  17. Yea, I was just saying. I mean... It's going to go way up. Dude is basically playing the next three years with 89% of his contract fully guaranteed.
  18. We've got to get to .500 before we concern ourselves with an all in year. Like maybe we are challenging for a wildcard in 26 if things go well.
  19. It all comes down to if the staff is confident in Renfrow staying healthy. Thielen and Renfrow will likely never be on the field together and they both can play a short yardage role out of the slot well. If we're confident in Renfrow's health, there is zero reason to not trade Thielen, get something for him while we can, whether it a pick next year or hopefully a LB or DB we can use this year. That also allows us to keep Moore for special teams as well, which I think makes for a better roster.
  20. So we waited until the offseason was basically over to do this and clear cap room up? For what? This is stupid I'm sorry.
  21. Taylor's previous Cap hit was 31m not sure were you got 4.8
  22. Oh, I gotcha. I mean, for once we appear to actually have some viable depth on the OL. So I'm not going to freak out too much over that.
