At this point in Panthers history, I have adjusted to one win lasting me at least a month.

There is absolutely zero chance Lamar was going anywhere. Baltimore was letting other teams do their negotiating and they were 100% going to match, full stop.

I was including us. I am not a Bryce guy but am not unable to see what the offense could look like if he played well, even given his limitations. And the defense for sure has a chance to get better quick with these young guys. And if we can get any decent LB play. I hear Wallace has done a 180, which he sure needed to do. Hope it isn’t a mirage.

I was trying to be optimistic and left us out. If I recall the list correctly, Dallas, Miami, and NYJ are right there with us and NE. Like you say, whoever takes care of the football better will probably win those games.

Both Carolina and NE are top 5 in % of drives that result in a turnover that will be the game. Who doesn’t lose it

I agree this season is off to an absolute poo show, and trending towards a 4 or 5 win disaster, but I'd give Bill at least 3 years to make some improvements. Right now the roster is a joke because of the late start to recruiting and the lack of money spent. If they don't pull in at least 3 or 4 major portal guys going into next season - and especially a QB - then I'll give up all hope for this program eternally. Even when Bill was hired, there was no part of me that thought he would lead to a national championship (ever) because we'll never compete with SEC and Big Ten money to attract elite talent. But I do think Bill could put a program in place that results in 10 wins consistently (given the horrible ACC) and make us at least look like we've seen a football before. That's more than Mack ever did in any season except for one, in his two tenures in Chapel Hill

Between Rhule and Wilks Baker was doomed regardless. While he was mismanaged he also was still an arrogant loudmouth back then let's face it. He needed the humbling to get to where he is now. But we did coddle tf out of Sam Darnold. And we've done it all over again with Bryce Young.

Biggest Baker mistake was just not letting him have the team from the jump and a real shot. he didn’t get reps to be the dude. He was second fiddle to Sam. They freaking had him playing scout team DE one week……and we are puzzled why it didn't work lol

This. Baker should have worked here. What an absolute clusterfug that was. Now he’s winning NFC South titles in Tampa going to the playoffs every year.

LS JJJ for a 6th??? I was hard press miss the one-year wonders, Fitz dropped a solid one that may still be ahead of Mike in Hitman Harris. Baker for a late 5th should have been insane value if not for dumbass coaching staffs....

Amazing what one win does for this place. All it will take is one more loss for the doom and gloom to continue.
