If Baker is done, bucks schedule just got a lot harder,

Not only do we have the hardest schedule, the Bucs might have the easiest. Besides us twice, they have the Cardinals, Saints, Falcons and Dolphins.

I see it this way, we could beat the Saints on the road, Seattle at home. Will probably lose to the Niners and Rams. That means we are 8-7 excluding the Bucs games. For us to win the division, we could hope to tie the Bucs and win the head-to-head. to do that, we have to sweep Tampa Bay and finish 10-7 (yes--the Saints loss is killer). Here is why: The Bucs, on the other hand, have an EASY schedule. AT HOME: Cardinals, Falcons, Saints, Panthers. AWAY: Panthers and Dolphins. I see them winning at least 4 more games. If they beat the Cards, the Falcons, the Saints, and the Dolphins, they have 10 wins. Probably expected because no team has over 4 wins except the Panthers. Even if Baker is out, I see them winning 4 down the stretch, making their overall record 10-7 if they lose both games to the Panthers. If so, we go. While it could happen; I sense the Panthers are starting to feel it, but I thought that before the home game vs. New Orleans, so we shall see. I give the Panthers about a 10-20% chance of pulling it off

When we played the Cowboys, nobody really believed we could win. And we did. We can do it, we just can’t afford anymore Bryce 125 yard passing days. If he’s gonna be the guy, act like it. Lead the team and win some games. Make the tough plays when it matters.

Yeah, IIRC, that picture was what made it all click like, “wow! He seems to know a lot about Matt, argues passionately for and about him, and looks almost identical to him.” It also explains the complete meltdown and then the eventual exit. I can’t remember a ton of our interactions prior to him going off the rails, but I remember thinking, as you said, he was a valuable contributor. You’re right, idk that there has ever been a crazier turn, not even in the WWE.

Even if we have the hardest schedule, we just have to win the same number of games as the Bucs and beat them both times. That seems very doable now. I mean even if we only beat the Bucs both times and they only win two more games, we win the division. As bad as they’re injured I could see them losing out.

I think we can confidently say that Bryce is better than Baker in a sling. Maybe.

Beat the bucs twice, best the saints, and steal one more. Not likely, but it could happen.

It's been a long time, but didn't he post a picture of himself in a lounge thread once and he looked like he could be Matt Moore's cousin or something? TheRealDeal's time here was crazy bc he was a perfectly logical guy before Matt Moore got sent on his way. I liked him and agreed with a lot of his takes. I never seen a poster go from valued contributor to troll in such a short time.

Thats true but the thing about it Rozeboom and Wallace weren't particularly great in coverage so it would have been an liability either way. In the 2nd half of the Falcons game Cherelus had some good pass breakups.

TheRealDeal. I made him completely meltdown into a racism tirade because of my push and fandom of Cam. Good times. I appreciated Matt though. I felt he deserved more of a chance in the league. I always strongly suspected TRD wasn’t Matt but that he knew him and possibly may have been family.

His face was red as poo when he got up too. Baker is tough as nails, but that poo was killing him. I knew he was hurting when he tried to launch that because he has one of, if not THE strongest arms in the league . I am and have been a Bryce detractor, but I literally was thinking about this today. As fun as it is to say “I was right,” as a Panthers fan, more than anything else, I want to win. If Bryce could magically finally figure it all out and go on a legit, seemingly otherworldly run and we maximize our potential, I will happily eat all the crow that can be eaten and be ECSTATIC!

CMC has only rushed for over 100 yards in a game twice this season. If he does get 200 its going to be a receiving and rushing totals. He is the 49ers offense however so that may be possible, he leads them in rushing and receiving. He actually has more receiving yards on the seaon than he does does rushing yards. 49ers run him to keep teams honest but they want to pass, hopefully our linebackers Kry Barnes, Claude Cherelus, are not liabilities in coverage. Then again 49ers are down to their 3rd string linebackers as well.
