I think I should have played pitts
-
Yep, we really had risen from being so that you almost have to try to be that bad….to average (which the league is basically engineered for you to be average)….and I do worry that the brainiacs at BOA will do and treat that as. We basically have a team that doesn’t stink yet not a thing scares someone. Division being down also complicates real perspective. Bucs and Saints have the 2 easiest schedules to date this season and one team stinks and the other likely is .500ish of that

We’re not a Super Bowl winning contender but the stars are aligning for that home playoff game from winning the NFC South. It’s only going to complicate things further.

Most of you probably know by now that I am in "hoist" mode.

All aboard this Koochie Bus!

One thing I can say I've gained from watching this season: A better understanding of Monte, Happy Doyle's color commentator partner in Major League I get ya, dude

I wore my old #28 jersey to watch our last game! I WILL be wearing it Sunday!

'nuff said Us and 32 other teams.

Will history repeat itself and Carolina make it to NFCCG this year?
asian88 replied to KSpan's topic in Carolina Panthers
We lost to the Jags so maybe this time we win the Superbowl instead of losing it -

I think it was Week 5 some years back: After a good start, we played the Titans and got our asses handed to us. "Exposed" was the buzzword of the day and everyone was certain that our season was about to dive straight into the toilet. That was in 2003

I want to win. I want to see playoff football. Bryce is coming back next year, so it is what it is.

I don't...

It’s going to come down to Canalas
raleigh-panther replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
Canales as OC, of course is impactful …but it is Bryce Young’s performance, consistent or inconsistent, that is going to determine this Some things are true 1. the division knows Canales and Evero 2. The bucs wiill score points as long as Mayfield is upright and Evan’s is on the field The Saints are ascending with their rookie qb 3. the panthers will attempt to run the ball and the saints will do as they did before, will the run succeed,I don’t know But it is Young that must perform he absolutely has to hit his reads He cannot be timid, slow starting and shrink in games like this Let’s be real and admit that Shough thoroughly outplayed Young in the first game by a long shot as with all nfl games, the QB is the cog in the wheel. Not the whole wheel, but the cog that gives the wheel a chance these next 4 games, tells the franchise if they truly have a franchise qb What will it tell, I truly don’t know I’m rooting for him -
Saw a guy with a gun... I think he was over there

Is this a serious question?

Stewart's a pretty funny guy.

I think its time to hand the net over to Bussi for 75% or so of starts.... hes a combination of Freddie's size and Koochies athleticism

Can’t believe we are sitting in a position to be division leaders on 12/15. Weird, very fun, sometimes maddening season.

I heard on some random news show this AM: (At 5 am-- I am rarely up then--I think ESPN (A white dude, a black dude, and a white chick) If the Panthers beat the Saints, they have a 70% chance to make the playoffs. If they lose, TB has a 70% chance. To me, that is high. With 2 games vs Tampa Bay left and a Dec 28 games vs. the Seahawks, I would say the percentage should be about 55-60%.
-
yeah, with a 7-10 finish and borderline top 10 pick still being on the spectrum of finish possibilities (at still wouldn't log as the best Tepper season given we have gotten there in a different really weird season that didn't make a lot of since).
-
There’s something happening here, what it is ain’t exactly clear… Bad and untalented teams don’t beat the Rams, Packers and Cowboys. Hell, even in our most dominant seasons those 3 wins would be very impressive. 3 of our losses were by the best teams in the AFC (Pats, Jags, Bills). They swept the falcons, our kryptonite team. Screwed the pooch in Nola and San Fran. Should have beat SF. That still stings. This has been one of the hardest schedules this team has had in recent memory. Going up against the best teams in the AFC and NFC, actually winning a few and now 2 wins away from the playoffs??? They used to be considered the team NOBODY with playoff aspirations wanted to play in December, and that rings true once again. It’s Far cry from the get right game they were not that long ago.

Lol. I know. We’ve got a whole thread about the ups and downs. We still have a chance at the playoffs if we can stop losing after every win. I just hate the heaps of praise on our front office when we’ve still got a ton of real holes even with some really good wins.
