So RB, S and LS

Next year the plan should be to have him working at the concession stand.

Well it's a good thing we didn't trade our backup linemen to the Bengals, along with a 1st, and whatever else. The mascot is a black cat.

Lmao

Baker Mayfield was the leading rusher when they played Atlanta and they limited him to 167 pass yards.

Ummmmmmmm........

If the Panthers lay an egg at home vs Atlanta...

Between their newly discovered pass rush, and their very capable running game, this has the potential to be the next ugly loss to Falcons. -
I would imagine OG/Center and MLB are the top targets next year.

I'm weirdly hopeful for this game. Atlanta's defense is getting a lot of credit for beating up on a 22-year old on a short week, three days after the birth of his first child. That game looked a lot more like "McCarthy bad" than "Atlanta good". -

Considering our LBs and safeties? Yeah. -
is it hard to imagine? We would be 3 games in to 2025 2024 - 2 games in 2023 - 2 games in IMO but some would say 6 2022 - 5 games in change has been coming early of late in Panther land.

Everyone got hurt while he was in San Fran, and they just had a bunch of general regression to the mean. it seems like Wilks biggest problem is that he’s difficult to work with, and he can rub players and fellow coaches the wrong way. He obviously had a lot of respect in the panthers locker room he wouldn’t necessarily have in San Fran. He was also probably saying a lot of things everyone else was thinking about Al Snow, Rhule, that weird DB coach he fired after the bengals game etc.

It’ll take a Bryce injury if we haven’t seen him yet this season. -
He was great to change up the failed Rhule culture black hole. Which was wasted the next year He had his shot and made enough mistakes to get passed over. Same with his 1 year as SF's DC. His defensive unit got worse as the year went on here and the offense stagnated after the initial burst into competency. He was a great bridge away from Rhule but Im not seeing a good HC prospect. To me it's like wanting Moore back just to get away from Young. Not really good enough IMO but I absolutely respect what he did you get away from the Rhule mess.

Zavala is filling in for Christensen and Mays for Corbett. Will bring up Kingston from the practice squad, he plays C and G.

I think we'll see Dalton in the game at some point. -

I actually think we are going to win and then poo the bed for the next 4-5 games. Can totally see a bunch of excitement and then about a month of let down until Bryce is benched. Then we win a game or two and then Andy gets hurt. At that point we will start seeing mock drafts. -

Panthers fan better prepare themselves, ATL probably wants payback for that Week 18 game too. -
Wow.... I had Corbett lasting 3 games.

Thats is what they should do. But as you know they have never done what they should do. -
I'm not saying he's not hurt. McCaffrey was legitimately hurt plenty too. But players have a habit of sitting out more games than necessary once they realize the team isn't going anywhere.

I have a hard time imagining us making any changes mid-season no matter how bad it gets. Tepper is impulsive. But a) there's nothing to be gained by making a change 3 weeks into a season, you're already signaling your season is over. Is someone really going to step in at this point and turn things around? Anyone in the league? Or even CFB, because I don't think Bellichick could step in and right this ship. So the best we could hope for, is someone like Wilks to step in, boost morale enough to win a few meaningless games and ruin our chances at a top pick, and then have the wheels fall off again. And b) Tepper has proven that he is capable of learning some lessons. We really haven't heard much out of that clown recently. Certainly not as much as we used to the first few seasons. And by this I mean I think he knows he has a reputation. And no quality coach wants to go and work for the impulsive, meddlesome owner who repeatedly fires coaches midseason. We've already got to be the least attractive landing spots in the NFL with the absolute dearth of talent, conditioning, and playing surface that will keep players healthy. So the best thing to do is at least pretend that he's ready to stay out of the way. So either way, IMO the smart play is you let this play out all season. Let these suckers go down with the ship, and if a regime change is needed, you wait til the end of the season to make a change. -
Our O-line being mostly healthy last year I hand a feeling a reckoning was happening this year.
