That why BY is the worst bust ever. Guys like Russell and Manziel failed because they didn’t give a poo and didn’t try. Bryce Young is giving every molecule of his being to try and be a good QB and he simply doesn’t have what it takes. Physically, mentally, he just don’t got it.

I know someone would sign him. They wouldn’t play him and he might not even be active. So fwiw do You think he could be fixed? Fixed implies that he is broken. I see it as this is what he is. Someone said after the game Mike White jersey was still hanging up after the game between BY and Dalton lockers. Like others, there's no magic QB help this in-season, its BY or Dalton show. Plus can you blame them(somewhat, but think...) everyone wants and hoped BY could build off his last 9 games. Given the investment, the hope was BY could fill the QB role for 15+ years. Morgan and Dave did not pick BY via trade up. They need to get to work on a total rebuild for the QB. There's nothing and they need everything-vet, starter, PS/future prospect. The free agent is headlined by bust Jones and failed 1st rounders. The draft looks meh at best too, (still a long way).... The work never ends......

It is due diligence basically. Drudgery but to be thorough you have to give him the season. We have stomached it this long, what’s another few games to be 100% certain? Thwy have a ton invested and the only thing worse than being embarrassed by being wrong about him being good is being wrong about him being bad and him showing you up with another team. So I see that happening? No. But it isn’t my reputation.

I think everyone wanted it to work for him. He's cerebral. He seems like a genuinely nice guy and a good kid. He's just not cut out for NFL football, and no amount of good will or rose tinted glasses can hide that anymore. The end of the "next Gen stats" era of evaluating QBs. We just happened to be holding the bag when that revelation came to light. Sorry, but sometimes you just need to use your fuggin' eyes. And if you're mortgaging your future, it should be on a guy who looks like a football player.

XL is disappointing but when your qb is barely throwing for 200 yards what are you exactly expecting from him ? he seems like a guy that would benefit from a vet qb coaching him up a bit and letting him know when he’s fuging up on routes etc bust I disagree with, unlike our actually bust at qb, we’ve seen flashes from XL
