  1. Past hour
  2. This. Bryce has to be at the very least “mediocre Bryce” The saints are going to do what they did the last time; lock in on the run, and make Bryce beat them. If he can’t do it; there will be alot of posters going back on hiatus and disappearing again
  3. Is Op Alice from the Saints board? He's looks similar and has a lot of the same traits...
  4. If we lose it's almost surely on Canales having a BY only gameplay that doesn't adjust.
  5. We’ll still have to run the ball. Keep them honest. Need throws out of jumbo/2 TE sets. Play action and bootlegs.
  6. I don't know that anyone's expecting anything like that. Most are predicting the fifth year option but anything beyond that is speculation. Dan Graziano pondered the possibility of a short-term, mid-range contract but that's it.
  7. I think a W this week and the rest of the games is squarely on our shoulders and depends on it we can get on the same page answering one vital question: Do we try to convince our guys that they are 17 point underdogs for each game? OR Convince them that, despite the uniforms, the opposing team is actually the Atlanta Falcons?
  8. The Saints have Bryce's number and that building is cursed. Bryce needs to tap into something supernatural to win this game lol
  9. They're going to follow the game plan of any team vs Bryce. Make him throw. If he has a good day, we can win. If not, the board will be heated again after the game.
  10. The thing with the Ravens wasn't exactly a positive. As far as his abilities, his college tape showed a guy that made occasional highlight reel plays but didn't put together full game performances. So far, what pro analysis I've seen looks about the same.
  11. So they will reward a player with a huge contract for being middle of the pack by year 3. I do not see it--I think mediocre is worse than being bad. I am OK with this if they start developing "Plan B." Right now we dont have a plan B.
  12. We are discussing possibilities. But most of us think this particular "possibility" would be a really bad idea. And not only because of his attitude but because while highlight reel scouting of him might paint a rosy picture, bfull game scouting tells a different story.
  13. If we can beat the Rams we can beat any team in the league. Just depends on which team (specifically, which Bryce Young) shows up Sunday
  14. Only doing euro soccer and NFL. 2-5 leg parlays that are +100 Win on team soccer and props on NFL Went 6-2 yesterday Lost one on Justin Jefferson 30 yards receiving And the other kelce 25 yards receiving Most legs are -800 to -400 and much more doable with the injury protection offered now
  15. Not well enough to justify what teams have to put up with. Terrell Owens was a phenomenal player, but teams kept dumping him because the drama was too much. Sanders is nowhere close to the kind of player Owens was, so he won't get as much leeway. As far as "the question", when it comes to entitled brats, problem children, headcases, etc. It's only that simple for the fans that have no contact with him other than watching them on TV. For the coaches, players and others that have to deal with them every day, it's not simple at all.
  16. A RB has a short shelf life--coming off a good season in a contract year, their agents know this has to be the big payday. Keep the $$$ on the OL and keep young RBs in the stable. RARELY does a second contract pay off at RB. So I agree.
  17. Our only hope is if "bad" Bryce is done for the season. "Serviceable to good" Bryce showed up for the end of last season. Let's hope that trend continues.
  18. Always appreciate you, AL. But it’s clear if you look at the initial post and the amount of poo reactions I got combined with all the decades old burns these troglodytes typed up, the vast majority of their objections are rooted in Shedeur and Deion hate. I have seen a ton of “If Deion wasn’t his dad” arguments, but let me flip that - If Deion wasn’t his dad, and as a 5th round rookie, he just threw for 350+ yards and had 4 TDs, 99% of these guys would be interested in acquiring him. I see why our fanbase is such a joke… these the same folks who have spent 30 years hemming and hawing “well, there’s always next year,” or argued Chris Weinke should be starting over Jake through 2006, or we should’ve drafted Marcel Dareus over Cam. They’re okay with mediocrity. We finally have vaulted ourselves into contention in spite of the QB who has tried to play us out of it most games, and now they’re fat and happy and cool with the bare minimum from the QB position, so the cycle continues. Dont get me wrong, again, for the sake of this year I hope Bryce goes on a magical run, and against all odds, we win the Super Bowl. But after the last 3 years, even if he does, we would be dumb to not still bring in competition to start at the QB position.
  19. Entitlement doesn't mean what you think it does. What others do doesn't make Young entitled. It might make the team foolish but it doesn't reflect on Bryce at all.
  20. The entitlement byoung has had his entire nfl career is insane. The panthers literally brought in no qb competition to protect his ego. If Cam Newton had had byoungs stats his first 3 years no one would be saying we would be picking up his 5th year option, panthers would have him riding the bench . I dont get it at all. Still hope byoung proves me wrong and lights it up and the team goes deep into the playoffs but looking at the wins I feel all but maybe 2 were in spite of young not b/c of him
  21. Woah. How many of those was Freddie in net?
