  1. Past hour
  2. You don’t want for things to come down to that. The second fourth down throw agains the rams was luck. That was a duck balance that the db rightly undercut that caught a draft. Whatever rather be lucky than good. think of everything that went into that first throw. It’s fourth and nothing, you’re running all over them, you’ve converted multiple fourths already, no one expects Bryce to beat them with his arm, he hasn’t done anything all day, the safety is down, the db is tight against a very physical receiver. That’s everything you needed to be going around for that play to happen. you can’t replicate that, to say nothing about being dependent on it. The saints have good DTs and don’t need to put 8 or 9 in the box to stop the run and one throw notwithstanding Bryce can’t take advantage of it. The packers put ELEVEN in the box against us on our final drive and Bryce called a timeout!
  3. We are 50% of their wins. Im guessing they drop one more too.
  4. I understand a hold, block from behind, etc., playing hard on a kickoff. I don't understand being "offside" on a kickoff, negating a 50 yard run. Offside on a kickoff. Think about that. Coaching. Pathetic.
  5. You pick up Bryce's option because it has value beyond just the team in the next two seasons. If we decide to go ahead and draft some QB competition, or replace the Red Rifle finally with a new free agent with some experience, you have an upswing QB in Bryce that can be traded, especially if there's a team with an injury that happens. And, let's be honest, right now Bryce is playing as well or better than the other 1st round QBs from his draft class. Scary, but true.
  6. Yup, we are on the 'common opponents' tiebreaker and they have one more win than we do to this point with one more game each of common opponents besides our two games head-to-head. Even if we split the head-to-head and win both match ups between our contests, they get the nod. We either have to win out, or hope they drop 2 of 3.
  7. Glenn will be unemployed sooner rather than later. When he took that job, I couldn't understand that at all. It was such a clear lose-lose situation and a lot of the results have made a chunk of this seem to be his fault(which some is, the Justin Fields thing being one). This is why you choose the Ben Johnson route. Go to a team and franchise set up for success, not for failure.
  8. It’s hard to do basic math when the ketamine has kicked in
  9. I don't think he's that good, but they traded away all of the best players on his side of the ball and then showed him the door after they struggled to defend. That's tough.
  10. Bdawg has admitted to simply trolling at this point. I suspect his days are numbered here
  11. This. He's building a team in the right way, he's managing the creation of a support system within it and has (and I didn't think he could) begun putting some grit and resilience into this band of players. He, however, needs to be able to hand play calling over to someone and learn to manage the overall game more than each individual play. He needs to conduct, rather than try to conduct and play the solo. And I think he has something hanging over his head that is crippling him at times... the Teppers reputation for cutting coaches for poor performance. It makes him play not to lose at times, especially against lesser opponents like Sunday. Maybe he needs to instill more grit in his own game.
  12. Everyon sees it except the huggers and egotist who need to feel superior despite being dead wrong.
  13. Josh Norris is a well known lover of Bryce. I don't think anyone can say with a straight face that he played "very well" yesterday. Had 1 great throw and 2 scrambles. Outside of that pretty meh. That has to drive the coaches insane
  14. Yeah, I mean if you could put the Tepper's into a year long holiday food coma and get someone with some actual sense in that building making decisions, cleaning house and rebuilding in a manner befitting of an actual NFL franchise would be amazing. But we all know firing any of these bums is just going to result in lateral moves or downgrades. Who the fug wants to work for David Tepper aside from stealing paychecks?
  15. The team doesn’t have any veterans. rozeboom is on the leadership council. I’d feel bad if I let that guy carry my groceries to the car.
  16. He’s also a colossal asshole, by all reports. he got fuging screwed in arizona and I’d be pissed off too. Him and glenn were never going to mesh.
  17. I would argue Morgan should be first since we can't fire Tepper. Morgan then Evero then Canales or just do all three. DO NOT PICK UP BRYCE'S FIFTH YEAR OPTION.
  18. The team plays well. Then they stumble. Cannales says the problems will be addressed. The team plays well for a bit and then lays an egg. Cannales says the problems with be addressed. Rinse and repeat. The same team that beat LA and Green Bay on the road got swept by the worst team in the NFC South. This inconsistency is indicative of a failure in leadership, either by the veterans, the staff, the head coach, or all of the above.
  19. I'd rather replace the coach first. Then maybe we can bring someone in with enough spine to not bend to ownerships will and keep starting Bryce Young. I want a coach who can fuging accept that he isn't anything more than a 2nd or 3rd string QB.
  20. If you are trying to have a normal conversation with that guy, you are in for a long day...
  21. What's his average? "He has some good passes." "you don't know ball!" loool jfc
