I think Edge is our biggest need. Atlanta, as you saw, drafted Pierce and jalon Walker and they got much better. We too need to get better at Edge and LB--Wallace and Rozebook are reserves if you ask me--at least part of a rotation/situational alignment.

Jones can be jettisoned to save money but we can't clear out the entire room without doing something to bolster it. IMO, we lack any starting caliber EDGE players. Wonnum, Jones, Umanmielen and Scourton are all rotational guys. The young guys could develop, so we should keep them regularly involved.

Yeah and you have to consider that although we have been a wild ride for oddsmakers, we are unquestionably the worst team in the NFL playoffs. The Rams are arguably a SB favorite. I don't think that should be a surprise. They were a -9.5 against us in Week 13.

He technically has a higher ceiling than Scourton, IMO. It's just a matter of him realizing it. We need him to develop because our EDGE group is probably the worst in the NFL at the moment. They produced a whopping 11.5 sacks as an entire unit.

The Seahawks were 10 point underdogs back in 2010 when they beat the Saints at home. I just checked. The largest point spread ever was actually 18.5 in the 1994 Super Bowl between the chargers and the 49ers. That was a hilarious game.

Yeah but to that point Baker is similar to Kevin Garnett in that he knows that if he can get in your head he can do things like get those flags. I don't expect Mike to be a pushover, and I do like the aggressiveness, but you have to be smart and not play into Baker's bait either. All things said, Baker will be at home, let's go!
