  1. Past hour
  2. that’s interesting to hear. Last year people were saying, or maybe 2023, that they hated the anti Bryce negativity and had moved to Discord. Related to the thing where there was a positive things only thread stickied here. Sorry for the misdirection.
  3. Some general musings after a minute: The run game is dull, glanzlos. Barely any pin & pull, twitchy misdirect, 12 personnel gap, pre-snap motion, Canales is inside/outside zone all day. Maybe 25-30% gap. Whats weird is that this was a super similar issue with Reich who was unflinching in his ecosystem. Passing game was WC, mesh heavy concepts, Running was Split zone and some stretch. Canales is somehow even less creative than Reich in the run game, but he thinks vertically in the pass. There is no focus on getting a guy, to his advantage, in space. It’s just these bland runs, bland passes, some interesting deep looks a few times. I’m honestly leaning in the d-coach direction as HC. A guy to establish culture and tenaciousness. The offense can be just as good as the crap we’ve got used to. Need to find the right guy to create the right environment.
  4. The team will respond and beat the Dolphins on Sunday... but then get blown out by the Cowboys the following week.
  5. Okay cool. I remember hearing him talk about doing multiple things from the same personnel packages, last season. Which was supposed to be an advantage. I haven’t watched a game this year. Radio, highlights analysis on YouTube. I am limited right now. My rudimentary knowledge of offense is like, the 11, 12 personnel and that stuff. And the field of play and where the ball goes. Like, short short short mostly.. So maybe I don’t have the chops for and advanced discussion of multiple formations, etc. And it may have been whet I remember is that he could run the same plays from multiple formations? I did a different profession and we knew how to make it work with what we had but sometimes you just don’t have enough to do the things you like to do.
  6. Yeah times are a changing. Lots of different ways to do the fan communicato. I respect they want their own thing, it is what it is.
  7. We lost some strong warriors in the podcast industry today #RIPMeowMix https://x.com/barstoolbigcat/status/1974203951181426949?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
  8. The fringe was still not as bad as the product on the field... Tepper is worse than the crap stained square of paper towel glued to a lid seat of a BoA seat lid toilet. Shocker
  9. I am horrible with fancy numbers. What do people think Tepper makes daily off his 20 billion or whatever he’s worth? Coach’s salary is a drop in the bucket probably. Maybe it’s 2 drops. Anyhow I think the only hope is total failure once again, and maybe he will learn. He will figure it out sooner or later, I’d like to still be alive for that. But I have serious doubts I will be.
  10. well the thing is with Canales he has a limited number of concepts using the same personnel groups & as the game wears on he often struggles to make the necessary in game adjustments to disguise what he is doing on offense ..just saying
  11. Amazing, we need to go WR at number 1 again. Holy sheeeeiittt.
  12. IIRC, this was a podcast I tried out as a recommendation and within like 2 episodes the amount of inaccurate Stephen A Smith/Skip Bayless stupid statements was a torrent.
  13. I dont think Bryce had anything to do with that at all. I believe it is just people looking for a more cerebral atmosphere.
  14. O-line will be better now that Zavala is out Ickey is our best option at LT at the current moment, but he's not worth top 5 or even top 10 money Renfrow gets open but him and Bryce has no chemistry whatsoever and also Canales doesn't play Renfrow to his strengths
  15. I am sure you are right about that but at the same time you don’t think maybe it’s like trying to play a 6 string guitar with the b and d stings missing? It is not easy.
  16. Today
  17. Not sure why so many are calling for a new coach. Look at what Canales has to work with at QB, the most important position on the field? I bet 70% of plays Canales wants had to be thrown out because that lil midget couldn't make the throws. First, we get a NFL caliber QB next year, then we see what Canales can do with him, then we decide whether to keep the coach. Please don't let that little coach killer kill yet another head coach.
  18. I guess over all the Bryce negativity. I bet it’s negative just the approved kind. They are free to blame everyone but him. Same as they did here only no pushback. It’s funny.
  19. I don't want him drafting a QB either. Id rather find a FA QB that sort of fits that mold to see if he can do anything with his system. Thats partially why I'd like to get a Howell or Winston type now so they'd have longer to get acclimated to the system for next year, even if we finish the year with Bryce.
  20. Personally, I rather see what Canales can do with a new QB and DC before pulling the trigger. If he is really hell bent on bringing the old "Seattle" days with him, hire someone that was apart of the Legion of Boom. I could see someone like Kris Richard coming here (currently Jacksonville's DB coach) to be the DC. As for QB, I have no clue who Canales would bring in if Young is gone. Obviously the most familiar name to him would be Russell Wilson or maybe Drew Lock as a bridge QB and then maybe draft one to sit behind him.
  21. Can't blame them...I scheduled my colonoscopy for 1pm this Sunday. Just better things to do than watch Dipper football.
