This would be the worst time to change uniforms because demand for Panthers gear is low because we suck. Business wise, it would be smarter to wait until after we have at least one good season that makes fans happy and excited for the future. That is when they will be more likely to buy the new jerseys you are selling. -

This is a joke right? If that's rebranding I'll just keep what we've got. -

Would you grab falling star t'vondre sweat?
PNW_PantherMan replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
Haha. In all seriousness it really depends on how the draft falls. If its the 4th or 5th round, and he's the best prospect on the board... I don't have a problem with the team drafting him. My main red flag with someone like this, is we're trying to build a culture from the ashes here. Bringing in guys with character problems may not be the most productive way of doing that. But I'm not a head coach or someone who knows how to build a team culture. -

draft a second round receiver or dont bother. this team has enough of these softball lob type players at the position make a meaningful investment there or just go into the season with what you have and draft guys where you can still get starter potential positions in the 3rd -
Okay, let's be honest about this. It happened a long time ago. It can't be changed. We made it to 2nd place that season and played in our second Super Bowl, two more than some older organizations have ever had and one more than most. It's time to let it go. It's time to let Cam go. Time just flows in one direction, we need to be looking downstream.

I would be comfortable with him in the 3rd round. i doubt hes there in the 4th honestly. guy was a bordeline 1st surefire second before the dui. I just see chances like this to get more bang for your buck. if he doesn't pan on think how many 2nd 3rd rounds we have thrown away( matt corral dj johnson so on) who have been even bigger wastes of talent. this guy could start day 1. -
Bryce Young ready to get back to work, grow as a leader
frankw replied to Carolina Panthers's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't seem to recall much of this from 2011 to 2018. People were way more brutal about this with Cam Newton and he had one of the most prolific rookie seasons of all time and was our only MVP in franchise history. Bryce Young has to earn it like any other top pick before him. We might not like it. But that's the way it's always been. -
So funny how everyone is against trading down in its entirety because of an old GM. I'm open to the idea.

Bryce Young, Kumbaya. Tell that poo to Bears fans you will have a better chance of success. I guarantee they love him. For Panthers fans, he has been about as useful as a boat anchor. A blocking sled probably contributes as much to the team’s success as things stand. 26-0, 9-0 in his 15th and 16th games. Trending up, he was not. He is Ron before the Riverboat. -

That exactly where I was at as well. Now I’m hesitant. But it is ok to start taking chances in the 4th and 5th round, so that’s where I would still consider him. Canales strikes me as someone who could be a good fit for Sweat, but that’s just a feeling I have, and I obviously don’t know that as a fact. -
