  1. Past hour
  2. Just depends I suppose how you qualify starter when there's a NB who can play the star role would be in there at a higher snap % than some technical starters. There's about 7-9 always out there--Both ILBs, two starting S, two outside CBs, 2 of the 3 DL, 1 of the two EDGE guys. Our remaining edge rotation and 3rd-4th DBs are still pretty much starters. But sure, if we have an outside corner we love, I imagine that would take precedent (I.E. Kool-Aid or Tampa). Same goes if they think Kneeland is a 3-down guy.
  3. Anticipation throwers are typically throwing to a spot. They rely on timing and the WR to beat their guy. It's not really "blindly" throwing to a spot as it's throwing to the right spot at the right time. Bryce was actually solid at this in college. Let's see if we can get him there in the NFL or not.
  4. I'm guessing all of these receivers will be in a rotation. Mingo will get opportunities just like Leggette. They are going to need all of these guys to step up.
  5. I said “you guys” because I’m lumping you in with the group.
  6. hope this dude is wrong. This draft isn’t a stud RB class. Drafting the best RB isn’t giving you an elite prospect. Just wait Carolina. End up with a comp back in rounds 3 or 4
  7. Pre-shows are beginning. Let's get some good ole' rabble rabble rabble going.
  8. If not one of the centers, Cooper/Wilson/Colson are my preference.
  9. I think he’ll be 29 at the end of his 5th year, if he makes it that far
  10. I haven't heard someone talk like Xavier since I was a kid. His accent is too good to be a bust.
  11. I am old school and would love it but for a bunch of years think you can along pretty well with good or excellent but not quite special. Case in point Kamara in the 3rd vs CMC top 10.
  12. Not everyone will be fans of a slot corner early, but I'm personally sold on the player. Thing is, ILB is critical for our two-high shell. They need to be fast sideline to sideline, be able to close in quickly, hover all over and Shaq coming off injury scares me. Colson or Cooper could make a lot of sense. Don't know how we'd do if we're looking at journeymen at LB this year. Very important for the Fangio disciple defenses.
  13. Ok, then I’ll thank you to stay out of every other thread from now on except these overly negative ones, since as I said you guys like to go in and drag everything down like you did with the Atlanta thread.
  14. We're all frustrated. We can eat each other or we can have honest realistic no punches pulled discussions and also hope for the best it we so choose. The poster you are referring to is not a example of silencing opinion though. That was Poundaway aka SBBlue who attacked anyone that said a negative word about the team and also later went down in flames on those previous accounts via meltdowns over Matt Rhule. Dude literally went down with the Rhule ship over it he defended that guy so much. Then came back and pretended nothing happened. Did the same thing with Bryce Young. If you're going to use an example try not to use the mentally ill. Honestly the mods did him a favor. This place was not healthy for him.
  15. Brugler said he heard things "about his character" from squads after the Senior Bowl. He may have interviewed poorly. Got all the momentum after the Senior Bowl, but then did the opposite once teams started meeting him and flying him for private-30s
  16. It is literally the anniversary there, WUnderhill. The one year anniversary of what right now looks like it was pretty damned destructive to our favorite football team. I bet next year sucks too about the 2nd round but NOWHERE near what last night gave us.
  17. Donelly doesn't mind the trade and gets why they did it for the 5th year option. Doesn't like the player because of age and lack of college production until his 5th year.
  18. I would take Benson with Brooks coming off ACL but would love a #1 RB. Stick with offense the next two picks and sign Gilmore for insurance
  19. Panthers have seriously addressed their line and will be getting players back from injury. Chubba has improved every part of his game each year he’s been in the league and is more than enough as a starter at the position. The Panthers have way too many other needs to take a rb. Thst said, if brooks is there? Oh man
