Moton signed to 4 year, $72M deal
Khaki Lackey replied to AndrewLaskoski's topic in Carolina Panthers
Wait until we stop throwing market changing deals at LBers. We might even be able to fill a hole with a top FA at some point. -
What will a week 1 loss to the Jets do to Darnold?
Khaki Lackey replied to CanadianCat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Well, we did just sign one of the reasons they sucked to be the leader of our team, so…. (just a joke Darnold fans.) -

Ruining your former team’s draft position in known as a “Dirty Rivera.” Man, this is good stuff. I kill me. -

Having the sole win in the last month of the season is known as a “Rusty Darnold” -
Yeah, his default setting was “butthurt troll” for years.

REPORT: No movement in Panthers’ talks w/ Taylor Moton
Khaki Lackey replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
It’s funny how a lot of people here think that the solution to our LT problem is to throw $20 million a season to a RT. I always wondered why Moton didn’t try to slide to LT years ago if he’s really interested in top dollar. I guess he’s insecure about his abilities on the left side. Better to be a dominant RT than a mediocre LT. I get it, I guess. -

Give me a break. It's been said on here ad nauseam in multiple threads, so after year of it you ask me for a source and say I'm making it up? -

No, just conjecture on my part since we can’t seem to get a deal done. -
REPORT: No movement in Panthers’ talks w/ Taylor Moton
Khaki Lackey replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Moton has always been hesitant to move to LT, now he wants top LT money. I want to keep him, but not if it keeps us from affording an elite LT in the near future. -
AJ Bouye Keen To Embrace New Role And New Position
Khaki Lackey replied to SBBlue's topic in Carolina Panthers
No kidding. Hell, I'll be happy when training camp starts just to give us something to read about. -
So if a 2nd year player doesn't become "elite" it's a slump? Got it. Who'd you want at 7 last year that you haven't gotten over?
-
In regard to Chinn, numbers going down because of a position change is not a slump. I'm a little concerned with the position change causing an actual slump. I know he played safety in college, I just hope they aren't putting too much on him too soon.

Panthers PJ Waker Ranked 25 Among NFL Backup Quarterbacks
Khaki Lackey replied to KatsAzz's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nope. I'm not a draft guy or an intentional tank guy. It's just that a Kyle Allen can get you a Teddy Bridgewater or a Derrick Brown, but a Jimmy Clausen can get you a Cam Newton. I'm half joking, but if Sam busts here, I'd just as soon have a top 5 pick next year. -
Panthers PJ Waker Ranked 25 Among NFL Backup Quarterbacks
Khaki Lackey replied to KatsAzz's topic in Carolina Panthers
If you aren't a legit contender, all a quality backup QB does is wreck your draft status. As far as vet coaching up Sam, he's got actual coaches for that. -
He definitely hasn't eaten any wins in a while

Bad is definitely a safe bet. Mediocre might be a little bold this year -
5 Timid Predictions for the Carolina Panthers 2021
Khaki Lackey replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
The gameday threads will be filled with knee jerk overreaction Brian Burns will get at least 1.5 sacks Someone will catch a ball while being defended by Donte Jackson The O line will be mediocre Edit: That last one might be a little bold -
Rhule see’s Brady Christensen more of a RT or OG than a LT
Khaki Lackey replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Rhule’s only NFL experience is OL coach. I sure hope that is an indicator that he knows what he’s doing there. If Moton was going to make the switch he should have done it a few years back. If his agent told him he could get LT money, I can’t blame him for not doing something that might not be comfortable to him. it is strange that they’ve changed their tune considerably about BC. I wonder what they’ve seen, good or bad. -
I’m starting a GoFundMe campaign to get him half a couch
-
Only if you’ve got a really good starter and are a playoff caliber team trying to stay in the hunt. If Sam sucks or goes down, I want Will Grier at the helm and a top 5 pick next year, not Teddy or Minshew coming in and stringing together a handful of garbage wins.

Well, this should generate some massive arguments
Khaki Lackey replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
I can only read in Spanish or Cantonese. A translation of said recap would be terrific. -
Yeah, Teddy force fed to Anderson the first third of the season, now his agent and half the huddle thinks he's Megatron.

It was Bell. And to be clear, Gettleman said that Bell was left handed and also noted that he had “left tackle feet.” And to be fair to Gettleman, Byron Bell was just as awful on the right.
