  1. Thank you. Someone said it. Seems obvious that he could play through it but there's a chance of aggravating it. The benching conspirancy only makes sense to the people who want to see him benched.
  2. What if they had taken Cam's comeback seriously instead of a ticket selling gimmick
  3. You can present all evidence in the world that the offense around Bryce is a joke and it won’t matter. We had a QB who was surrounded by clowns but was still electric because of his physicality and that’s what this fanbase expects. And we spent his career arguing over whether it was his fault or the team’s whenever he struggled too.
  4. Don’t understand the controversy over this. The saints backup QB rushed for 75 yards on designed runs but putting Dalton in for short yardage is a crime against humanity.
  5. I am concerned too but I think for different reasons than most. I liked the call to have Dalton run it to be honest. I don't see a point risking that with Bryce when you have a beefier backup you can offer up for sacrifice. Just like it makes more sense for NO to run Hill over Carr. I know you said you've moved on so I'm talking past you here, but I think Cam has this fanbase thinking that if a #1 pick can't singlehandedly carry a bad team then they must be a bust. The only QB in this class with the sort of game that could have won sunday is AR and as you pointed it's not sustainable. That doesn't make AR better or more "NFL ready" than Bryce either he just has a different set of tools. We moved up to #1 for a QB that (for once) will make all the throws he's asked to make and isn't going to implode the moment he faces adversity. I still think Bryce is that guy if we get him the pieces. I do worry about this staff's ability to do that before he gets set in his ways.
  6. I’m just saying that for lack of a better term. It’s only a bad thing if he ends up more like Bridgewater than Brees.
  7. It’s just a glorified way of calling him a distributor/game manager/system QB and I think that lines up with what we’ve seen so far. The hope is that he becomes an elite one like Brees and it’s way to early to say he can’t. I still see him doing reads beyond his years. One basketball player can take over a game the way a football player can’t so the Steph comparison is kinda dumb, but I think that’s more about dude being undersized
  8. Without a run game or any real receiving threats there’s not much he can do. I’ve seen enough to believe that’s all he needs, but my worry is that we’re about to stunt another QBs career building an offense around him too slowly. He has better fundamentals and protection than Cam so hopefully that buys the team more time to figure it out. He’s got the skillset to elevate his team but he’s not going to carry dead weight like Cam did.
  9. He’s been underwhelming but the offense is hot garbage
  10. Love this and rooting for brodie. Man carried my fantasy team back in the day.
  11. Damn you’d rather trade Burns for a lower pick than lose DJ? He would definitely improve this group but he’s not an elite guy at his position like Burns and Brown. And we knew they were poised for a breakout in the 3-4.
  12. They have this tech already similar to basketball courts. The problem I read is that it’s hard to do as a renovation. The mechanism for it and the storage for the surfaces need to be thought out when building the stadium.
  13. The point of the comparisons is to show that it’s meaningless it’s not to say he’s going to be a hall of famer because he had a rough debut.
  14. Young took accountability postgame he's no Teddy
  15. Pretty obvious from the broadcast he either missed Bates altogether or thought he could squeeze it past him. On one of the picks at least (I think it was the first) Bates is clearly in his line of sight when he throws
  16. Had a lot trouble getting the hike off through the crowd noise too. Got to get some bass in his voice.
  17. Bryce knows this and tried to force it through anyway. Bad decision. I saw more positive than negative out of him but call it like it is. His mental game is held to a higher standard because he does not have the physical traits to bail him out of bad decisions.
  18. Name some for me. I feel like this a myth that everyone has just accepted as a thing when it's rarely the case. Mahomes is the only one that comes to mind that was done intentionally, and he may have been ready from the get for all we know.
  19. Peyton threw 28 picks year one. All that matters is how Young moves forward.
  20. Same. Think it would have waned for me regardless but SB50 and the Cam/Luke/Greg exodus accelerated it
