it took Cam four years to score 5 touchdowns in a game. Bryce also had a QBR greater than 60 in four of the last five games, with three of those being over 80. That is exceptional. I had been a doubter that his play at Alabam would translate to the NFL. However it’s clear that I was wrong. Bryce has found that movement he needed to break defenders down and that has helped him immensely.

I was someone who thought that there was no way he could get there. He took two weeks to sit, and I guess that processor kicked in after he got to observe, and man, the eye test is fine. I'd bet there are at least 100 or more yards in dropped passes that are out there impacting stats as well. If Legette hangs on to that pass against the Eagles, Bryce is over 200 yards with two touchdowns and a win over the NFC front runners.

We've traditionally lost games we are not favored in as well. At this point, my take is "LOSE STRONG". Play well enough to show winning is possible, but lose.

I'm of the opinion that he's been showing it the last three weeks. The two weeks prior to KC weren't statistically great but anyone with eyes could see the improvement.

This was very different from Green Bay for multiple reasons: 1. Kansas City has the best defense in the NFL 2. Bryce made multiple throws, from the pocket, while being hit and they were downfield 3. He was actually directing traffic and even though they didn't yield much yesterday, they will eventually 4. He brought us back from being down 20-6 to tie up the game against the Super Bowl favorites at 27-27 with less than 2 minutes to play 5. Dave Canales has finally found his stride as a play caller with literal undrafted FA's at receiver, rookie tight ends, a 2nd year QB, young RB, etc.

He’s also making plays in the pocket. He’s hanging in there and looking up instead of down. It’s fun to watch.

Like their jobs are on the line. So many rookies on both sides of the ball.

As am I. This team almost looks like something you could build around. Success begets success.

He is improving. I said this all last week and caught poo for it. He looks like a competent NFL QB and on that drive in particular, dare I say he looked like his play is elevating the play of others. The strides he made just by watching Andy Dalton is ridiculous.

Right. We only want him to be Tua insomuch as his level of improvement, not concussions. If he can continue on how he is now, I feel he could be alright. We will see.

I was excited, and am excited, to see where Bryce goes from here. This was his best game top to bottom. We don't know if he will never be a Top 10 QB because he went from looking like a CFL back-up to promising player in two weeks. I honestly don't recall ever seeing such a leap in QB play from week to week from anyone. I felt like we won in spite of coaching, honestly. We won with a second year QB, a rookie TE, two rookie receivers, a new LT, the NFL's worst defense, etc. It's pretty crazy.

He didn’t check those plays.

He almost lost the game. I thought, for once, that Bryce played well despite coaching. Four straight screens right after the Saints score, awful.

Not sure why people are mad that he’s playing well. I’ve been the biggest, hugest, Bryce critic on this board, since before the 2023 NFL draft. He is doing things in this game that he hasn’t done in any NFL game to this point. And he’s doing it against a Dennis Allen defense.

In the Packers game Bryce didn’t pick it up until the end. He also had to make a lot of plays outside of his progressions and he was bailed out by Chark several times. today, he is the guy making the plays, making the checks, calling protections, etc.

Objectively, I told you so. He is playing well enough to win, against almost anyone, in this game. This is, by far, his best game as a Pro. This is the first time since Week 16 of 2022 that I’ve seen the Panthers really look competent, other than the Raiders game.

You clearly didn’t read the whole comment. bryce, objectively, looks better than he’s ever looked playing within the structure of the offense. Maybe Ickey was really that bad.

Dar I say, Bryce looks like an NFL QB. He is calling checks, changing protections, changing the plays, staying in the pocket, and really playing within the system. He looks like, I wouldn’t want to trade him. If he can really change that much of his game in just two weeks, after sitting for a few, I wouldn’t mind seeing how he did with a full offseason with Canales, in the same system. I’m not going to say I’m sold on this small sample size obviously, but we’ve got so much youth playing right now that the fact they looked competent on one drive against a veteran Saints defense is a big, big leap.
