  1. These were good moves. Gaudreau was a pipe dream but I have to think the Canes at least called his agent. He signed for lower than I thought he would in Columbus.
  2. Cheap 1 year deal sure. He’d go a long way at shoring up the run defense
  3. He was interviewing during that time though, it’s not like he went totally off the grid.
  4. Everything I've heard about this trade jives with the idea that he wanted to be traded there (Twitter rumblings, etc)
  5. Johnny Gaudreau as I've said since the season needs to be considered. Canes need closers.
  6. I just wonder what the real reason he couldn’t get another job. Was it truly his merits or was he blackballed for benching Eli
  7. Snyder is a pervert. I haven’t seen evidence that Tepper is one of those, yet.
  8. Oh man it’s almost as if there is a reason this team has won only 22 out of 64 games since Tepper bought the team!
  9. hasn't even played a down for the team yet. ban
  10. Teams will just run to Burns's side, he gets completely blown up in the run game on the regular. Reddick was actually decent against the run.
  11. Sucks he’s getting paid $19m this season but Darnold is a competent backup QB. Could come in and win a couple games for you if your starter goes down. No reason to cut him unless some other team wants to take that $18m off the books for nothing
  12. It’s ok, he’s Mormon. Probably only “soaked” with his moms friend.
  13. Are you also ignoring the massive rushing totals they gave up in the many losses they endured? They gave up 100+ rushing yards in 9 games, all losses. They gave up 150+ in 5 of those games. Teams rarely win games giving up these types of numbers in the run game. Dallas - 245. Minnesota - 198 New England - 151 Washington - 190 Tampa Bay - 159 The Giants, Dolphins, Bills, and Falcons all topped 100 yards as well. And what did they do in the offseason to improve the run defense? Nothing. Literally nothing.
  14. Those stats are skewed by a few early games where the run defense actually worked.
  15. Run defense is going to be absolute ass
  16. I haven't listened, how much editing was done to Robbie's statement to make that a coherent sentence?
  17. 100% agree that Brady was the bigger mistake than signing Teddy but without Brady I doubt Teddy is a Panther. But cutting Cam without a legit plan for a long term replacement was also a huge mistake
  18. He was probably going to hold out in Cleveland, get fined, wouldn’t make his salary, etc. Browns weren’t going to cut him because if he got cut the Browns would be eating way more of a cap hit. Baker still got ~78% of his salary and the Browns didn’t take a $19m cap hit. Him taking a pay cut had to happen otherwise both he and the browns were in a no win situation. Seemed like a pretty solid deal all around.
  19. 100% sure that wasn’t the first time he and mayfield had gone at it
  20. Y’all the Browns paid him $10m to be traded. He didn’t take a pay cut he’s getting that money.
