  1. Don't we already have this guy on the roster in Barno? Would've been super stoked to have BY, Mingo, Washington and our new guard with 2 more picks to go.
  2. Man, I may be one of the OG guys. Don't know who's left on this site from back in the day. I went silent lurked for many a year and came back this past year. When I left the posters/postings were getting a little outa control. I likely contributed to some of that, but as I've aged, I only care about good conversation and content. This Panther site captures that well.
  3. Man. I've been saying this since NCS days. Some of those balls were begging to be picked.
  4. Agree. It's not a matter of if BY gets hurt, it's a question of when he gets hurt. All guys at that level sustain injuries, but his frame is the issue. I can envision a snowball effect and that would be disaster for this franchise
  5. I see a sweep of our division. Could go undefeated at home so 10-12 wins seems about right. Now if the rookie qb loses a few games for us that could all change, but this team, and coaching staff, should get a few W's
  6. I completely agree. You can't coach that speed. He has the ideal size as a stand up lb
  7. I feel like Young and Stroud will likely both be good. I'm almost certain Stroud has a much longer career. Searching for a starting qb sucks. Go with the guy who will lace em up for your for a decade.
  8. I drive all over this state for work. There are some pretty diverse spots. The Raleigh/Charlotte debate is weird for me. Charlotte became what it did despite the politics in Raleigh. Quite the feat. As for Gastonia, it's growing right along with every other town in this state. Belmont is quite the jewel over there, however. But glad to call Concord home.
  9. I'm not opposed to BY in theory. I believe he's the most cerebral qb in the draft. Where things get dicey for me is when reality takes hold. He's a small framed guy who may end up in traction at some point. He will get injured. The injuries will pile up.
  10. So I literally cannot keep up with the cap thing, so could someone help me out with what our cap space will look like next year? Cap only seems to matter with the Panthers btw. Every other franchise, particularly the Saints, always seem to have money to throw around.
  11. Give our qb targets. Invest in that OL at some point in the draft. Keep the trenches strong
  12. Although losing out when you suck is ideal, I agree with you on how to get players and coaches to buy in. They're not.
  13. Completely agree. If we trade the farm for a guy turns out to be Trubisky or Zach Wilson, this franchise is on its heels for another 5+ years.
  14. Agree with the poster above. AR will be there at 9. If they like him enough, and I suspect his combine numbers will look great, draft him.
  15. I think you are correct...and it's amazing that a sure fire pro bowl caliber player is worth less than "potential" of undrafted players.
  16. I completely agree. We were like a dog chasing our tail due to bad trades. It was embarrassing.
  17. This is why I believe, barring a QB you really like falling to 9, you trade down if there's a team interested in that spot. We need players.
  18. My prediction is that Wilks will be named HC and we will get a new OC (don't know who but expect an old HC willing to collect a paycheck) and most of the current staff will be retained. We have big needs at QB, WR, TE, DT, CB and DE. I suspect we address 3 of the 6 decently in the first 3 rounds and choose to pass on addressing need late in the draft and go BPA. Not a bad plan as we can probably snatch more OL help and another running back late. Not expecting much in terms of FA as this franchise needs to clean up the payroll.
