  1. I've been converted to redzone for the last few weeks though made a point to watch Cam's first game back.
  2. Pickett and Willis don't interest me. Pickett screams that mid-tier journeyman a la Matt Cassell/Case Keenum. Willis has looked bad everytime he's even remotely seen decent competition. There's been rumors most teams see 3-4 1st rounders with Corral being obvious. I personally know some scouts who are high on Strong (only downside is his knee). Ridder fascinates me. Likewise with Howell. 1. Corral 2. Strong 3. Howell 4. Ridder
  3. I am hopeful he can give us a few fun moments and games going out. Hopefully none that are of the level stinkage of yesterday. I at least appreciate its Cam we're giving the shot with after Darnold. And at the end of this lovely rollercoaster disaster of a season, we can reassess everything top down. HC/Staff, QB, OL, DL, LB, RB
  4. Don't care. I'm sure we're getting our scouting intel on Corral, Ridder, & Strong right now. Time to check out this draft and 2023 and key in on the future.
  5. Matt Rhule: Joe Brady: and drumroll..
  6. I believe we are all 85%+ at the least there as a fanbase. We have seen enough of it all. Good day sirs
  7. Well this is infortunate. I know Erickson and Zylstra seem like good depth but it would be nice to see some opportunities for these younger guys to flash. And get a spot back by giving Smith PR duties. And keeping Marshall active. They better not be giving up on him this early bc they took him over Sam Cosmi dammit.
  8. I thought Daquan Jones would be better than just serviceable/meh. He's really middle of the road, and with that, we're not getting Derrick Brown to step up. And then with Fox/Burns/Reddick flying around, we just don't have the big bodies to help clog the middle against the top lines. YGM may actually be our better run defender out of the DEs but he's been on and off the field this season. Games are won and lost in the trenches. Both sides. A real scrappy 3-5 tech is needed. My needs: 1. Better coaching 2. OL *3. QB (Too early to tell w/Cam's return) 4. DT 5. LB 6. S
  9. Bottom line is we went back to Cam after allllll of this hullabaloo. It's honestly embarrassing for Rhule and Tepper. And I can't imagine Tepper likes being embarrassed. Fake out released him, released Heinicke, traded Kyle Allen, signed Teddy, struggled with Teddy, fail to trade for Watson, then Stafford, then turn to trading for Darnold (for way too much), and struggle with Darnold. Now, it's back to square one, with money flushed down the toilet and fewer draft picks in 2022. Guys like Heinicke, Mac Jones, etc. all playing well while we went through the trashcan circus bin to get back to where we are. Heck, might as well count Hurts as well since we were in a position to draft him in 2020 R2 with an unknown with Teddy coming off injury. The crap thing is how hard you can see they're trying to scrap for a manageable QB and it's just not working; at all.
  10. TB's offensive line does not bode well for our defensive line (Given what DAL and WAS were able to do). I can actually see a Buffalo upset but we're probs looking at 7-10 or 8-9. Which is strangely in line with many predictions from early in the season. But I don't think we expected to get teased at how good we could be or how shoddy coaching would be.
  11. RIght? Do these people not Etsy!? Great for vintage band tees and the best interior knick knacks.
  12. He's been pretty damn good IMO. Chinn has been shadowing guys, a lot of the balls we intercept come from his area where he's blanketing a guy where Donte or whoever swoops with the right angle of play at the ball. He's been highly effective.
  13. This is his week to shine. Heinecke is a pretty aggressive guy in spurts but will get funneled into the short passing offense. For example, WFT had that crazy long drive of these 4-6 yard gains last week against TB but he still from time to time was making those more agressive shots. That game had Winfield Jr. all over the field with a banged up TB secondary. Our defense is quite a bit different. And one of the more unique/frustrating ones for QBs in the league (I'd recommend anyone into podcasts start listening to "The Athletic Football Show", had a great breakdown this past week. Their shows on the 15, 17, and today all cover it a bit. https://theathletic.com/podcast/211-the-athletic-football-show/ Our fleet of DB defense is going to give Heinecke fits methinks and he's going to forget the silent assassin we've had this year in Chinn. This may be a game where Jeremy pops off on the stat sheet, gets a sack, int, maybe even a greater impact. I know we've migrated him back from the LOS this season but I think we've got a prime opportunity against WFT with Shaq back and Jackson, Gillmore & Bouye playing at such a high level. Could be a really fun game to watch for fans of defensive scheming.
  14. On a business trip visiting the QC before he was fired, he was at an adjacent table at a trattoria with his wife. I did a nod of the cap and felt compelled to do no more. No need to impede on the respectful man. Respect the respectful.
  15. Mostly lovely words. Although the word you seek is pill
  16. That Philly game is the real tough one this year. We had no business losing that game/or in other words--our offense gifting that game to Philly.
  17. It seems in turning the poop, we have found a bit of rusted old gem that is aight. He looked aight.
  18. It was a 2 monthish timetable back in October so Imagine there's a few weeks to go. Could see him on the field for the last 3-4 games and maybe a playoff game.
