  1. Looks like a solid pick. Guy with size and athleticism. We have a good number of lineman on the roster that we won’t know how well they’ll translate to the 3-4. We need options.
  2. If Corrall actually could be the guy. Would you expect him to give up his number ? You know Cam sure as hell wouldn’t . Corrall sucks but every player in the NFL has to believe they are the best.
  3. That’s true but the cupboard isn’t bare is what I mean. I don’t think we’re forced to take one. We have an option for every play call scenario under the current roster. Is rather us take a pass rusher.
  4. I mean I don’t think we need a WR in the second anyway. If they believe in TMJ then we have a competitive group for all sorts of situational football. Chark can take the top off of a defense. Thielen can find the holes in the zone. TMJ has #1 potential. Shi Smith has playmaking ability.
  5. I’d like to see him have his fair look in camp. God forbid something happens to Young he could get his shot.
  6. His best bet is to compete his ass off and hope Bryce gets hurt.
  7. We about to officially resign Cam and draft BPA on the jumbotron .
  8. Can we also get a thread for when we trade out of the #1 pick so we can resign Cam and draft BPA?
  9. Would we really need him to coach? He could simply be a week to week consultant. He probably still watches tape like an animal. We could just have him come in on Thursdays and tell the LB's all the keys he's seeing.
  10. I know Bryce (or CJ/AR) will be our pick and heir apparent. But I do hope that Corral gets an honest look by the staff to see if he's worth keeping around.
  11. Glad to hear you made it through. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
  12. Idk I think while our WR group isn't stacked right now it is at least a competitive group. We desperately need another pass rusher and athletic talent at LB.
  13. I think OP is talking about the player and their talent on the field. By that metric alone Hardy is basically second to Peppers. If he wasn't a moron he'd still be in the league. Hardy had a motor and ability to play the run that Burns doesn't display. But Burns edges him out in athleticism.
  14. Idk I guess when you see them lined up like that in this photo the size difference isn’t all that crazy. And who knows maybe Bryce can still grow a little taller. I’m sure we’ll get him the tallest shoes he can wear.
  15. Would be dope to have Cam here instead of Dalton.
  16. Brees only got a SB because the refs played storymode with his career. He was a stat padder who choked more often than he should.
  17. Hell yeah I love this. I’ve always been a Byrd fan. He’s a lot better than has been given credit for. Should have been a drafted player. Elite speed and good returner.
  18. We Panther fans have been lucky to experience excellence at the MLB position. Sam Mills Dan Morgan Jon Beason Luke Keuchly Even guys like Chris Draft and now Frankie Luvu gave us a decent level of play. Luke is the GOAT and had concussions not been a problem he probably would cemented #1 all time by now. Does make you wonder what could have been with Dan Morgan, very similar player to Luke. Not quite as cerebral as but maybe had an edge athletically and was more of a ruthless player.
  19. Maybe but I also think that reveals a lot about his ceiling. I think a lot of QBs probably have the mental ability to play the game but they simply don’t have the reaction time and the physical traits to overcome the NFL caliber defense. If smarts was all it took then Fitzpatrick should be the best in the game and he’s obviously not.
  20. I mean im on the Stroud train as well but I feel like this isn't the best example. It looks like an obvious adjustment that any competent QB should be able to make.
  21. I'm not just concerned about the hits on his shoulder. I'm worried about how long he'll have the juice to make the necessary throws. He's having to torque his arm and his body a lot more than bigger guys to deliver the same throws. The sheer number of reps may take a toll on him. Like a baseball pitcher.
