  1. I agree with you since we have the coaches and GM we have. But if Hurney and Ron were still here, would you still say 100%? Lol! Ron would sit him behind a vet receiver so he could learn behind a guy who couldn’t teach his new puppy to chew a dog toy.....
  2. That block was LEGENDARY! I was watching it with my cousin who was a Tampa Bay fan. He walked away celebrating. He was like, “That’s it, good game.” and I just said, “It ain’t over yet.” and stayed glued to the TV. I lost it when they blocked it. One of my fav moments for real.
  3. True, but I think that says more about how bad they were, than about how good they will be.
  4. Dang! Mac Jones looks so much like his mom......I mean, I haven’t met her.....but....
  5. I wore #21 in basketball because of Deion Sanders....so.....lol!
  6. Bucs: 13-4 Panthers: 10-7 Atlanta: 10-7 Saints 8-9 Bucs lost no one in a cap strapped year. We improved greatly after losing 8 games by a possession or less. ATL will have a killer offense, Davis will be considered one of the best RBs this year with defenses keying in on their wide receiver/ TE options. However, I don’t trust their defense. Winston doesn’t have Evans to win those 50/50 balls, but Kamara keeps them from complete irrelevancy. Division will be tough this year.
  7. Yeah, they got that value and more thru four trade downs. People can say what they want about who was drafted, but the value aspect is undeniable.
  8. Technically, they traded down twice in the second and got two third rounders. So they kind of got that value back already and some. A second next year is pretty much considered 3rd round value.
  9. I have to say (A) because of the value in these picks. Chuba, Nixon, Brown, and Shi are some very talented guys for day 3. LS is low value til something bad happens (got the best college LS). Also, I think Keith Taylor will get more playing time than we think. If not this year, then def next year.
  10. I think this point is over looked. Just because you were not asked to do something, doesn’t mean you can’t do it. I think he will surprise people with his catching. Especially when they focus on getting by his blocking and he pulls off of a block for a reception.
  11. I think Horn, Christensen, Brown, Fletcher (haha, you said starter), Shi as a returner, and even Tremble. Tremble will be our main FB/TE IMO. With our defensive philosophy I could easily see Nixon getting major snaps. Terrace may not be a starter, but will prob get major snaps as well. Chuba was great value and will probably share snaps and be in when CMC is out wide. Most of these picks will be contributors and not just depth. I’m not sure we could ask for much more. I see at least 8-9 guys who will be constant contributors or better. Hard to be down on that.
  12. Great video, I watched most of the draft and they barely mentioned us. Haha! But the excitement is real, he has some weapons: DJ, Anderson, Terrace, Shi, Moore (from Seahawks), Dan Arnold, Tremble, CMC, and Chuba. GOOD GRIEF!!! He also has a defense with additions of Horn, Reddick, Fox, Jones, Nixon, and more. He has NO EXCUSES!!! Not to mention the staff. Like the video mentioned, we lost about 8 games by one possession. I think we over achieved last year thanks to them, and could have done even better if we made a few more plays in each one of those games.
  13. Nothing on offense. Maybe a backup QB. Defense. Would love a vet safety. That is about it. Hard to tell because the philosophy will be to mix things up. So will we see Chinn as the lone safety with an extra corner on some snaps? Likely. Chinn will be everywhere which allows us to get stupid creative. I think Burris will be fine with more talent around him. I think we are set. Still have guys in FA and others will be cut in the preseason cuts because of the new draftees. I wouldn’t be upset though if we didn’t add a single person.
  14. 1. Jaycee Horn, CB - Grade A. We were horrible on 3rd down last year. Horn hasn’t been known for INTs, but you don’t complete passes on this guy. I don’t care what people say, we NEEDED him bad. 2. Terrace Marshall Jr., WR - Grade B+. Samuel was huge for us on 3rd downs last year. We got great value for a guy who also played in Brady’s system. Tall with unusual speed for his height. 3a. Brady Christensen, OT - Grade B. I don’t think our line was as bad last year as many claim, but we definitely needed an upgrade. Many people watching tape of Zach Wilson said this guy stood out. Didn’t allow a sack if I’m not mistaken. 3b. Tommy Tremble, TE/HB - Grade B-. We were terrible last year in the red zone and our TEs were nonexistent. It has been mentioned he wasn’t a pass catching TE. From his presser I gathered he wasn’t asked to do that. That doesn’t mean he can’t. Also, Manhertz needed replacing. Not to mention, dude is a willing and violent blocker. Could we have gotten him later? Maybe, but it’s possible we could have missed out. If you can’t tell, l am very optimistic about this one. 4. Chuba Hubbard, RB - Grade A. This dude has another gear. He is patient at finding his lane, but doesn’t dance too much. When he does find the lane, the pedal touches the floor quick. Smooth cuts and change of direction. It’s gonna be tough to run this guy down. 5a. Daviyon Nixon, DT - Grade A+. This deserves an A+ on value alone. We needed someone with the ability to slip thru and get to the ball. Can’t let 3rd and long keep getting converted. His pick 6 shows you his athleticism is incredible. You know his versatility was a plus for this defensive philosophy. I see him being able to be used on the line in a number of ways. 5b. Keith Taylor, CB - Grade B-. Both corners remind me of a Sherman or Bradberry. I don’t hate the pick, it would be a B+ if he was to be used as a safety, but Rhule said they see him as a CB. That room is getting crowded. Maybe he takes over for Jackson next year. But for this year, prob looking at good depth. Not something I should complain about with our 7th pick in the draft tho right? 6a. Deonte Brown, OG - Grade B. Love this pick, I would have chosen him earlier. Seen a meme comparing his build to a Blastoise. He is massive. I’m sure the staff seen something they were excited about at the senior bowl. This could be our new starting guard. 6b. Shi Smith, WR - Grade A-. Love this pick! Would be higher if we didn’t already pick Terrace. Replaces Samuel’s gadget production and possible return guy. Will have more of a role next year probably. Great value. The thought of CMC, Chuba, DJ, and Shi on the field at the same time is interesting. 6c. Thomas Fletcher, LS - Grade A-. Screamed at my phone when they picked him over G Dave Moore. Then they signed Dave as an UDFA, I guess they know more than me. Undervalued position until bad things happen. 7. Phil Hoskins, DT - Grade B+. Won SEC defensive player of the week in December. Had a tackle for loss ON 3rd DOWN that forced a FG. Yeah we have a problem there. Hope he can help, has potential. Good value for a very late pick. Overall Grade: A+ We pretty much covered every need except for maybe S. Almost doubled our picks and came away with multiple offensive weapons and some dawgs on defense. MASTERFUL!!!
  15. Yeah, I was screaming at them for picking a LS while he was sitting there......guess Fitts and Co. know more than me.
  16. Yep, cuz we do have Darnold for 2 years. Which if he plays really well, could keep him or use him to trade for Watson. They have to be thinking if Darnold plays even adequately, he would be a better bargaining piece than Bridgewater was. I hope Darnold balls out and we keep him, just so we don’t have to lose all that draft capital. Because this regime is MASTERFUL with it.
  17. Yeah, with the way the NFL is today. Haha!
  18. True, I thought the fifth rounder was next year! I seen someone say it was, must have been confused. Awesome! I’d use a sixth and trade up in the fifth if possible. Adding Israel and maybe an inside o-lineman would be an amazing draft.
  19. I really want them to draft Israel Mukuamu in the 4th and play him at safety. I feel like that would work out well.
  20. Maybe, depends on our situation after FA next year. I could see us making a move or two in order to get who we believe are the missing pieces. Just my opinion.
  21. That was this year. It’s very possible our strategy is different next year. We should be in better position after a FA with a good amount of cap, and if Darnold plays well, we will have less needs. I see us moving up next year to go after one or two guys we feel are the missing pieces. Just my opinion.
