  1. So I know Dans gotten a lot of crap for the Johnson trade, but I think it’s best to keep things like this into perspective. With a good old song by Kenny Rogers: Moral of the story is sometimes you get dealt a hand that puts you in a no win situation, and you have to play the hand as best you can. You can’t get caught up on what lead to this point. It’s all in how you play it going forward. facts: Johnson needed to be traded if we were gonna get anything for him. holding onto him served absolutely no long term benefit, he wasn’t gonna resign here. Everyone in the NFL knew this and we had no leverage as a result. In short, we had a poo hand and everyone knew it. Calling Dan a bad GM based on this trade is just short sighted and reactionary.
  2. Anyone in his shoes would feel the same. Can’t blame him one bit, we are a mess right now
  3. Some people get too emotional on things, before they pulled Dalton they were playing for wins in general. It’s since became clear that this team isn’t there. This Sunday they were not playing to win, it was clear to me, play calling, who was active and who wasn’t. We are in full blown evaluation mode now. They’re pressing the restart button and seeing who or what pieces we are gonna keep moving forward. They got the Game in Germany circled because it’s the market in Europe we’re trying to push into. It’s also one of our two remaining “winnable” games we have left on our schedule.
  4. Just to further your point. I think we played the Broncos as a test game. That was it, we wanted to see where certain players currently were in their development. Is there anything to be saved about Bryce Young? how does Coker and Leggett actually look on their own? I expect us to see the same this week, with us maybe actually trying to win the Giants game in Germany. Trust me, we got that game circled on our calendar as a franchise.
  5. I agree, but I also think we didn’t have any leverage at all. And that’s what bit us in the ass. leverage matters.
  6. People getting upset about this trade expected wayyyy too much. We had no leverage. What did yall expect? honestly this should have been expected.
  7. I think that comment is way over blown by the fan base. Some players need to play a lot better, or be out of the league. It’s tough talk, but they need to play better. Johnson is one of the few bright spots we have on offense. I’d try not to over pay, but not give him more than 3 year contract.
  8. This 10000% I’m fuging over it. People wanting to see Bryce got the memory of a squirrel, which ain’t much. I will never watch another panthers game with Bryce Young starting. He’s that bad
  9. He’s old at this point in his career. Sucks but NFL takes a toll on players hard.
  10. I don’t know why the media doesn’t think Bryce is the issue. Certainly can’t say that after this game today
  11. They were the best of days. I can’t believe we are where we are now. I almost bought after the NFC championship game. We were going to be the next dynasty in football.. I’m so fuging sad about how every thing has gone to poo since then
  12. I’m tired of the defense of Bryce, you can make all the excuses for him that you want. But he’s been out right terrible this season, his very first pass that was intercepted was 100% on him, he had a clean pocket, plenty of time to throw and still threw an absolute turn of a pass. He hasn’t shown a damn thing while in the Panthers uniform, I don’t care about what he did in college, he is responsible for himself. He had excuses last year, this year there are none. He is the issue this year with the offense and that’s why he got benched.
  13. I’ll always be a fan of the Panthers, but definitely finding other things to do and teams to follow while we suck.
  14. Overly dramatic post here. But yeah Bryce is definitely not the answer.
  15. Man, I love the Panthers as much as anyone but I’ll be glad to wipe away my disappointment with $34 million if I sucked as bad as him as the Panthers QB
  16. I don’t feel bad for him one bit, he’s making more this year alone than I’ll ever make. He’s playing a sport for a living. Dudes got it made
  17. If you thought the offense was gonna be anything but bland tonight you were expecting too much lol
  18. Meh. Jeff Bezos owning a team would be interesting. Just from the seeing how unlimited money behind a team would look. but I don’t think the owners want someone that rich in their club either.
  19. I don’t know why we didn’t take Wilson with the 3rd. I know the injury history but we also had Thomas Davis on this team.
  20. Getting the 2nd round pick next year was huge. Definitely like the trade
  21. Bill showed us this is the most important thing to do for 20 years in New England and it’s like they’ve finally starting to realize this is what matters. if we protected Cam better and doesn’t get that injury we are completely different team today.
