  1. I honestly don't think any of that is correct. I think the Saints roster is absolute garbage.
  2. Please find a roster in the NFCS that is better than ours.
  3. This team is way too talented to have low expectations. Don't really want to hear about learning curve for Bryce either. This is a playoff roster with even average QB play considering how terrible the NFCS is.
  4. He was pretty terrible. Best of luck to him though.
  5. He performs quite well as a backup. He's not a feature back. That's why we signed Sanders.
  6. No need to worry about having to make this tough decision this year.
  7. Well if he's a "savant" as the pundits have said, he should have zero difficulty mastering the game at the pro level from day one.
  8. We overpaid a bit, but there are only two (barely) noteworthy RBs on that list for the Eagles. The rest are guys that will only see the light of day if the first two are injured (which would effectively mean the Eagles "wasted" money on their top 2 RBs). I don't see them as having value, so one could easily argue the eagles are wasting $4m on RBs.
  9. Might be the most homer thing to possibly say, but I am absolutely certain that in an alternate universe where Steve Smith plays for the Colts, he retires with every single relevant receiving record known to man.
  10. Three or four #2 receivers are much, much better to have than an overpaid #1 surrounded by scrubs. It puts pressure on the coaches to scheme guys open and attack every level of the defense.
  11. We really don't need a #1. The media really wants DJ Moore to be a bigger win for Chicago than he is.
  12. This is what we call a no-brainer. I also just don't see it happening.
  13. Maybe I'm crazy, but I just don't feel like that many injuries are happening on kickoffs these days? Why do they keep targeting them for rule changes?
  14. We all know exactly what we've got with Justin Fields... a QB who can't put together 150 passing yards a game.
  15. Lol... Not with Justin Fields throwing him the ball. His career is, sadly, over.
  16. I do kinda think our poor record had something to do with him actually. It wasn't necessarily his fault, but he became such a focal point of the offense that it made us one-dimensional and painfully predictable.
  17. Part of being good is being healthy. A player can't be great unless they are actually on the field. He's a top 3 corner in the NFL, arguably the best if he can get a full season under his belt, but we need top 3 for 17 games a seaon (plus playoffs), not 10.
  18. I'd sell the farm on TMJ breaking out this year.
  19. I'd say Atlanta, mostly because of I-85.
  20. "Depends" definitely matters in the conversation. Pre or post injury is quite important to the discussion. Also, this is about who the Panthers GOAT is, so I'm not sure why the team he played for wouldn't be a factor in the conversation? He was rookie of the year (with quite possibly the best season by any rookie ever at the time), MVP, and led the team to an NFC Championship win. I definitely DON'T love Cam, but I recognize his greatness and that he stands out like Mount Everest above all the other QBs we've ever had, while Steve B and Jake D are more like Mount Mitchell. Luke Kuechly was definitely the best MLB we've ever had, but he was so on a team with a rich history of fantastic MLB (and OLB) play. Context matters. Cam excelled far above and beyond what has ever been achievable for QB on a franchise as dysfunctional as ours when it comes to offensive play. He's the only player we've ever had that actually carried the whole team, including the defense, when it was blowing 30 point leads left and right.
  21. Depends on what part of his career we're looking at. He had several seasons where he was a top 5 QB, but he was also very hot and cold. That said, let's not forget the team he was playing for, who has consistently had among the most piss poor QB play in the league year after year after year... with the exception of the years he was good, and the one halfway decent season we got out of Delhomme. Luke's last two seasons in the league he was an absolute liability, so the same could be said for him... and Peppers. Smitty had about three seasons for us where he wasn't top 5 either.
