If we were actually able to stop teams from gaining 200+ yards on us and actually put teams in obvious passing situations Burns would look better… he definitely isn’t Julius Peppers.

If teams stuff the run down our throat the secondary should be ranked pretty high.

I want an explanation for why CMC only got 14 touches. Are they freaking trying to save him for when the schedule gets tough?

Yes we lost our annual “revenge game” and yes we looked pretty bad in spots but the team showed heart and it came down to a BS RTP call for the Browns to win. I’m not giving up on the season after one game. I’m hoping that the staff can get things straightened out and we can beat a Giants team that without question we should beat. All bets are off if we suck against the Giants next week.

At least it isn’t Cam getting tire tracks on his back.

Not sure about it. Supposed to be raining so that hurts our passing game, they have a decent d-line with Garrett and Clowney, Ickey will be tested all day. Our defense has to stop the run, that might be the key to a Panther victory. Brissett won’t do squat against our secondary. Low scoring game: Panthers 21 Browns 14

That’s good news for us then. Our secondary is the strength of the defense.
