Why even look at the top guys? The prove it to decent guys would be a huge improvement here. The top guys are best for filling out holes in rosters for contenders. The Panthers are not close to being contenders.

He is a good but not great player. If we can get 2 or 3 other good players in free agency with the kind of money he was wanting, not sure where that is at now, then absolutely trade or let him walk. They could literally fix the oline with that kind of money...or if anyone competent was in charge. He just is not a guy to build a team around. I honestly think they have asked him to save themselves from their bad team building and management by being more than he is. He isn't a Peppers but that doesn't mean he is awful. Does this mean that Rhule is fired after year 2 and SF is flushed with him? The hurdle of owning the soccer team is really the biggest hurdle I can think of. Not 100% sure about the rules tho. He can pay the other owners enough to let him move like the Rams did, it might actually be a prerequisite of moving a team. He can pay his way out of PSLs and the city deal, maybe tax break repercussions?. He would just own real estate downtown at that point. Plenty of places to move, especially out of the country. The NFL would love that and wouldn't care about Charlotte at all.

Minshew should have been the starter at the beginning anyways. AR was a project that needed to learn how to transition his game away from trying to be a power runner QB. He isn't a bust yet but if he can't learn to throw more and run less he will because he is injury prone, especially in the way he played in school.

I did it once. Said fug you not paying and just blocked calls when they did come in. They sell over time so it goes quite and then some other agency buys in bulk and then you get a new round of calls so it comes in waves and the older it is the less they call. I had a friend that went on to become a lawyer and he specializes in suing those companies and loves it because they are always pulling crap on people who don't know better.
