  1. I still prefer Slowick to Johnson, but I'd be happy with either of them.
  2. 1. Bobby Slowick 2. Ben Johnson 3. Ejiro Evero 4. Mike Vrabel 5. Brian Callahan
  3. This. Even if Bryce isn't the guy having Slowick will help the QB we take in 2025.
  4. Slowick needs to be the guy. Open the checkbook, Tepper.
  5. Bryce was bad, but so was everything around him including the coaching staff. He probably deserves an F, but I'll go with D just because he was able to at least survive taking so many sacks when durability was such a big concern with him.
  6. I don't know about 20 years. Tepper can learn how to do this right, he just needs to check his ego at the door and admit that he has a lot to learn before diving head-first into the football end of the pool.
  7. I'm very surprised Vrabel didn't get the New England job. To be honest I'm almost always against hiring retreads (more so now after the Reich disaster) but Vrabel might fall under the "team was stupid to fire him to begin with" category. I'm certainly not against the idea of him as HC here. I do still worry about the offense, though, but at this point I think we need to focus on finding the best HC we can regardless of background.
  8. At his age, no. We'd be right back looking for his replacement after 2-3 years. I'd prefer someone younger who can be here for 10-15+ years if he ends up doing well.
  9. That honestly is not a bad idea. If it was being reported that half the candidates out there were refusing to even interview for the job it could hurt our chances of getting quality candidates to actually interview. I get what he's saying, but in this case optics could actually matter.
  10. My current top-5: HC: 1. Bobby Slowick 2. Ben Johnson 3. Brian Callahan 4. Ejiro Evero 5. Mike Vrabel GM: 1. Will McClay 2. Adam Peters 3. Nick Matteo 4. Brandt Tilis 5. Brandon Brown
  11. True. Morris would be a great candidate on paper if he hadn't already been a HC with iffy results.
  12. How would extending Brown lower his cap hit? I guess if they back-load the contract but he's going to cost a lot to extend.
  13. Give Mike Vrabel a franchise QB and you might just have something. The Titans really had no business being s competitive as they were this year.
  14. Vrabel is a good coach. That surprises me.
  15. Nope. You can't tell me he didn't have a role in this clusterfug.
  16. Yeah, he's my favorite for the GM job along with Adam Peters. Either one would be outstanding hires.
  17. Some good names so far. Bobby Slowick is still my favorite.
  18. If the Raiders don't hire Antonio Pierce and go with Jim Harbaugh it'll be a huge black eye for the NFL.
  19. If Dan Morgan wasn't a former player how many here would be calling for Fitterer's assistant GM to get the job? You can't blame Fitterer without Morgan getting some of that blame as well. It's like the people who wanted to give Fitterer a pass for the decisions made when Matt Rhule was here. Was he the final say? No. But he was damn sure part of the discussions that lead to those mistakes.
