I feel like Baylor has the edge against Auburn tonight. I'm not a big Jackson Arnold fan and Baylor has a good number of starters returning from last year and finished last season pretty hot. I also think Miami might be a disappointment this year. Carson Beck is a huge downgrade from Cam Ward and that defense has never really played as well as the talent level would dictate it should. I can see Notre Dame going in this weekend and winning big, but I'm not super confident in their QB situation either. App State/Charlotte could be a sneaky good game, too. No idea who is going to win that one.

It wouldn't surprise me if USF beats Boise State. I feel like Boise is overrated this year; they're not going to have Ashton Jeanty to lean on anymore, but everyone has them taking the final playoff spot. I think the American winner (Navy? Tulane?) stands a better chance of getting that last spot.

This is why re-signing Brady Christensen was so important.

For the record, I'm not a South Carolina fan but I think Sellers makes a serious run at the Heisman this year and goes top-5 in next year's draft if he declares.

Losing Renfrow because you cut him for a day or two instead of putting him on PUP is the most Tepper-era Panthers thing ever.

I hope so. He's easily the second best WR on the roster; I'm not entirely convinced he's not the best, but it's hard to say with until we get a better look at TMac.

I'm convinced this organization doesn't like receivers that can actually catch the football. Mark my words; they'll trade Thielen for peanuts and trot out XL as our WR2 and have David Moore playing WR3 while Coker rides the bench.
