I trust Rhules ability to evaluate talent to fit what he does. Both coaches and players
-
Just so long as he doesnt have an older brother starting at Center, im willing to get hurt again.

great choice, this guy is starting to get some buzz from the nfl draft network guys, kyle crabbs at least. He thinks hes a preferred over the kid out of miami due to his versatility.
-
Didnt know that info, thx. Still works for draft leverage i think. Really after the first round, they can extend him if thats the plan.
-
i just like the idea of waiting until after the draft, so teams still think we might draft a QB.
-
edit: sorry, didn't know about linking certain sites. My fault. i swear i heard we already did. If no, that's a spicy meatball. Panthers finally trying to keep people guessing on their plans.

Source: Panthers Open to Drafting Quarterback With No. 8 Pick
Panthero replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
Exactly. -

Im not sure i buy it but the pff guys argue a high end pass catcher is more valuable than a tackle. Not sure i agree with that. Give me sewell or slater or a couple extra picks.

Rashaun Slater Asanti Samuel Jabril Cox, likely gone by this pick but Jaylen Twyman Tommy Tremble Adrain Ealy A safety - tyree Gillespie would be a steal

What is your first three round mock and why
Panthero replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
We wont take a cb until the 3rd, possibly the 4th, imo. -
Ive been contemplating this as well. Insurance for Moton is a lowkey need. Especially if hes seeking that large of a contract.

Teams looking to trade up for quarterbacks
Panthero replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Well it is a game of (quarter) inches. -
For instance Felton is a RB that can play slot WR. In my first mock, i took Carter becuae his scouting report said he'd be valuable catching the ball. Also, Eichenberg at Tackle doesnt fit the freaky athlete profile but is thought to be a plug and play type. If Greg Little flames out, hes a guy that can keep the qb clean at least.
-
I was curious about that. Ive been choosing gap power guys, since i was sure on the types we are after. Everybody else i go for athletic types mosty. And if a guy has positional flexibility, ill take a shot as well.
-
Heres a better one. A bit more realistic if we trade down and get lucky.
-
i like this big ma'amajama
-
Brown worries me. He's got the NFL body and ability but he can disappear for long stretches.
-
Yeah, i figured pff would have more realistic trades. I cant believe that those grades are accurate. I dont think we can afford to sign 13 guys, lol.

Its not great in terms of who fell where, particularly OT, but man oh man. I addressed everything i could think of.
