And people wanted us to sign aging vets or trade for other RBs...

The Cowboys offensive line committed zero penalties
ChibCU replied to Eazy-E's topic in Carolina Panthers
I noticed this live. To make it even worse, the second defender launched himself at Sam's legs after the ball was thrown. -
That was one of the strangest officiating calls I've seen. It's as if they applied a two-hand touch rule to determine when the play is dead. Meanwhile in another play, DJ Moore's forward progress had stopped and a defender had him wrapped up at the ankles/knees, but refs continue that play as more people pile in on him and twist him up.

"a team that, while is 3-0, isn’t in the same class"

No. Why did you need to ask? -

As opposed to a win in a Super Bowl game? -
I don't know why this bothers anyone. Being severely underrated is a better strategic position. Opponents underestimate you and your own team is given extra motivation.

Can we sign the Jets FG kicker as our punter? -
Rashaan Gaulden. Yikes.

This. Hurney actually makes DG look good in comparison. Currently, he looks terrible with the Giants.

What did we draft with that 3rd?

That logic is not always good to apply. Being selected as a first round pick means nothing if you end up being trash. Not saying that's the case for CJ (I know nothing about him), but it is true for others.

These are just fun indicators to me and not absolute truth. I've heard it said that it depends on if they're in zone or man regarding how it factors into grade.

A safety valve in the form of CMC is essential when your offensive line gets completely blown up on certain plays. Can't push the ball downfield when you have no time.

I typically hate the real early byes, but this year I wouldn't have minded it.

Based on the reactions to OP, I understand most disagree with the premise but that might be the Batum comparison that I have limited knowledge. I agree that the contract extension shouldn't have been the priority. Other players that we could have focused on first and see how the season plays out with Robby. We drafted two WRs this year and our #1 receiver needs to be extended.

Graham Gano has now made 34 straight field goals
ChibCU replied to TN05's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'd say he missed as many games as he did because of his value and contract. We were in a lost season. A lesser player plays more games. -

And while unpredictable, wasn't Gano injured shortly after? Butker decision would have been the right call in hindsight. -

Our kicker situation is a comedy of errors no matter your perspective. We went from asking Slye to kick 65 yarders to punting net 18 yards. -

Most frustration centers around keeping Gano over Butker. -
Talking about 500 games after a sample size of one game to predict touches over 17 games... come on, man. And, that would be a shocker to have usage and other records broken the season the season gains another game.
