Robby Anderson wants Panthers to work out Colin Kaepernick
Manna replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
He was supplanted by Blaine Gabbert before the kneeling happened. his skill set had declined at that point. Kap running back to the NFL is like you running back to your ex to beg for another chance after verbally trashing them to everyone you know. -
Sam Darnold told Jets they were “making a mistake” by trading him
Manna replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
The bigger mistake was picking up his 5th year option before even seeing him on the field. That's why we're stuck with him this season =/ -
I don’t know much about the 49ers, but Did they do that because of Jimmy G or in spite of Jimmy G?
-
Dudes not on the team and he’s already a cancer in the locker room. Hope our guys that were in the trade package use this as motivation to improve, especially when we play DW4 twice a year.

Worked out for the better. We keep our draft picks, players (even though I don’t think anyone other than Chinn is part of the “core”), and Rhule should be gone after this season.
-
Well, if we don't get Watson, maybe this will turn out to be a similar to how Luck stayed in college and we ended up with Cam. That seemed to work out. Except, I dont think there's a "Cam" in the league.

Right, and if he's anti-slavery, why want back in?
-
Didn't he adamantly compare the NFL to slavery?

Sure, if it will help secure the top pick in the 2023 draft. Otherwise:

The perfect draft picks from last years draft

Sure, but Rhule wouldn't play any of them -

Worst Kept Secret at the Senior bowl (Panthers Interest in Pickett)
Manna replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's ok. I'm treating this coming season as 2010. Hoping the 2023 season is our 2011. -

Antonio Brown wants to sue the Bucs for... trying to help him?
Manna replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
I work in mental health and unfortunately, given AB’s public antics, he would be administratively discharged for non-compliance in his own treatment. He’d be the kind of client/patient to no show, show up late, cancel, tell you he’s fine and that it’s the world that’s the problem (clear sigh of some kind of distorted thinking/ personality disorder), or cross boundaries. I don’t know if he’s always been this way, but considering his profession it makes a lot of sense that the hits have made an impact on his brain functioning. -
Even if it works, I still don't want Rhule drafting any QBs unless he isn't the one doing the picking. If reports are right about the QBs McAdoo were big on, I'd want him and Fitt to make the pick instead.

CBS: Rhule keeping close eye on Michigan job, wanted Penn State
Manna replied to Kraybrothers's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’m hoping Rhule pulls a Bobby Petrino. -
Things couldn’t have set up better for Tepper and Rhule

I get that Rome wasn’t built in a day. I get that Jay Z took 7 years to become Jay Z. What I don’t get is why keep this head coach around when he’s shown no improvement in the two years he’s been here. If his coaching, culture, and system are 1000% working we SHOULD be able to see it and there would at least be a ray of hope going into year 3. Instead, the only hope we as fans are left with is to look forward to which week next season when he gets fired. Teddy (still sucks) but he was right about this coaching staff and I’m glad he spoke out against them. -
Now, the stadium next season will be even more overran by opposing team fans. I have foreseen it.

NC/SC Governor nominate Cam for prestigious honor
Manna replied to Billy Love's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't know if I'd call it racism. When I still lived in Charlotte I recall that RG3 was beloved everywhere. Even Watson is/was adored. I just don't understand the hate towards Cam, and the only reason I can think of is that Cam doesn't display himself as what they expect from a QB1 (Peyton Manning-like). There are anti-cam's out here, but they're open to having conversations about Cam and can still respect Cam the person and player even if they don't like him. To the OP, thanks for sharing.
