  1. Hell our own QB (Darnold) got a pass for his first three years because there wasn’t much talent around him. Cam found himself in similar situations several years with us and last year in NE (not as bad as NYJ), but never got a pass.
  2. Damn and that was against the Jets… I can’t blame Darnold for overthrowing a couples passes considering the poo that was in front of him…
  3. We need to post a COVID topic every couple days to clear out some of these idiots.
  4. I mean there hasn’t been much available with giving up capital which we desperately need right now. I think we would have drafted Sewell if he dropped to us and just weren’t that high on Slater. Outside of that we would have been reaching or trading away picks to get one. We got TC at a good spot for value. Erving didn’t look terrible Sunday either, or maybe Elf was just so bad he made Erving look decent….
  5. Fair, but at least they are drafting young talent and not completely ignoring it. TC was a 3rd rounder I believe. I hope he can work his way into the lineup soon so we can at least see what we have in him.
  6. Paying Moton was a good start as well as drafting Christensen and Brown. Let’s hope we further address it next offseason. We seemed really fixated on fixing the defense these past two…
  7. Excuse me sir, but do you have a moment to hear about the glory of PFF of Latter-day NFL?
  8. I have a feeling our staff thought Erving was good enough at LT. After we traded for Darnold Fitts was saying we can now draft BPA (implying our needs were somewhat met) If you are drafting in the top 10 you really don’t want a player with a higher risk. We did it last year with Brown and the year before with Burns and CMC several years ago. Lowest risk with a high reward. You have to hit on those players. Slater played G and RT at NW and didn’t play LT until his final year. There were also a few issues with his measurements when scouting. Horn looked and played like an elite CB against elite competition with an elite bloodline for several years in a row.
  9. I think we were just more confident in Horn being elite vs Slater. Lower Risk/Still High Reward and he addressed one of our biggest issues last year. Getting off the field on 3rd down.
  10. He may be a little immature (calling out the team that cut him, girl reporter comment, arguing with kids) but I never thought of Cam as dumb.
  11. So if we drafted Slater our defense isn’t getting off the field on 3rd downs, we will have less sacks, and teams will just pass on our CB not named DJax all game. That’s harder to watch than quick passes IMO. Plus Slater was further from a sure thing than Horn if you ask me.
  12. Erving played better than I thought he would. Hopefully Miller will be back and Paradis can play like he did in stretches last year. Elf will be our weakness until our staff brings in the young guns.
  13. Did you know there are 5 major cultivar groups of cabbage? Savory, Red, Green, White, and Spring Greens.
  14. He can be book smart and still an idiot. Eating the W, Yelling about grabbing women, crab legs, and other allegations tell me he is an idiot. Plus he plays for the Saints…
  15. No one likes Big Ben here and he is a rapist. That doesn’t make Winston smart though. Your argument that he has to be smart by being a multi year starter at QB in the NFL has been dismissed by Bradshaw. So in summary Winston is dumb, Big Ben is a rapist, and Sean Peyton is a douche (just because).
  16. 2 week old account answers that question…
  17. Was he not a multi year QB starter in the NFL?
  18. Sean Peyton is one hell of a coach and probably would have made Rivers even better. I hate Peyton, but he is legit (except in the playoffs).
  19. Rivers was solid, but pretty careless with turnovers. He was like a poor man's Brett Favre. Wilson is a lock for HoF, Rivers I don't think so...
