  1. The good news is IF Darnold has a solid year, Brady will be a hot candidate for head coach and we can bump Sean Ryan to OC to keep some familiarity for Darnold. I’m actually satisfied with most of our staff from the GM to the QB coach right now.
  2. I mean this “make him play” poo is dumb. If he REALLY wants no part of it and they are forcing him to play (which seems ridiculous) then all he has to do is start throwing picks or fumbling snaps. I mean come on. They can’t MAKE him play a sport. If the legal poo dies down he may decide it’s in HIS best interest to play and play well. That however is a different story…. OP has a weird fetish involving rich owners forcing players to perform. It’s a dying formula… GB tried that with Rodgers and had to have an emergency meeting with stakeholders, rework his contract (where now they may get NOTHING for him next year) and have him involved in franchise decisions like bringing in Cobb. Julio just asked for a trade and got it. Watt just asked to be released and was. Teams don’t want players on their roster who don’t want to be there. It terrible for the team morale and the locker room. Houston is holding their cards close hoping the legal poo gets settled so they can get a king’s random for Watson. It’s not a terrible decision really…
  3. Starting QBs who want no part of the organization while also upsetting a large portion of the fanbase. What could possibly go wrong?! Glad this guy isn’t running any organizations…
  4. You don’t even think he is starting? Why are you asking everyone who the starter is? It just bothers you that even a player in legal trouble with little leverage has some pull on say on how he plays vs what the owners want.
  5. It’s Tyrod Taylor with Mills the rookie backing him up. https://www.espn.com/nfl/team/depth/_/name/hou
  6. Why would they force a player to play who refuses to play? That would be a terrible move. Would you want him leading your huddle? Is he really going to run the offense they way the staff wants? What are they going to do if he doesn’t?
  7. Yeah exactly. They feel Teddy puts them in the best position to win. The main question is do they want their team to grow and develop with the younger QB who has a lower floor, but higher ceiling or roll with steady Teddy and count on their defense (as you stated) to win games. Kind of a long term vs short term plan. I can see then trying out Lock again if they start off bad. *No teams except the Eagles play less talented players to improve their draft position.
  8. I think it’s waaaay to early to worry about draft position. Teddy will mess that up anyway. That’s part of the problem. He keeps you middle of the road with no upside…
  9. They didn’t want Cam backing up Mac because they are coddling Mac. Mac also didn’t get many preseason snaps against a starting NFL defense. Maybe Rhule is just doing it the Patriot way??
  10. Did you just beer yourself? Sad times….
  11. People pooing this are telling on themselves…
  12. You clearly have never been cut down by a Panther. Nothing is off limits! Not even our beloved mothers.
