Then pull him after a bad decision… It’s like they are doing everything to slow down his progression.

For some reason they aren’t playing all of their starting OL. Seems like an odd move when you are trying to develop your rookie QB…
-
He has the arm talent, but I think you are right. The transition from the OSU offense to a below average Houston offense will take time…

Damn didn't realize he put on that kind of weight. He looked good running the ball with Foreman under Wilks. His hands still need some work though...

A think Shy deflected one of Rodgers’ passes as well.

Camp Confidential: New-Look Panthers Compete at Training Camp
ForJimmy replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah Chark has potential to be a WR1 if he can stay healthy. Chark and Thielen aren’t a bad WR1 and WR2. If Mingo or TMJ show out this year our WR room might be pretty decent. -
Love the post and info you put out there. They definitely have some options with Mays and BC being so versatile. Jensen could be a nice surprise for depth going forward as well. I’m just not 100% sure BC would be great as a long term RT. I always think of bigger power blockers when I think of RTs but then again the game is definitely changing.

It's Jets joint practice Day 1 (8.9.2023)

McCray, Jensen, Zavala, and Mayes should have some decent options there while Corbett recovers. Campen will get the best out of them. -

The same poster crying about Young being too small all draft is the same one crying about him throwing an INT in a scrimmage. I would have never guessed.... Man when he throws a legit INT that person is going to explode. -

The thing about Willis is he was projected to he a higher pick by a lot of people, but 3rd round for a raw project QB prospect isn't that much of an overreach anymore. I'm pulling for him and hope he makes it tough to Tennessee let Levis take over.

Yeah the WR got a jump ball wrestled away from him. We get it and it’s no big deal. Interceptions will happen and it’s not always on the QB. DTR is bound to throw some if he gets enough playing time. -

17 games is a long season. It's nice to have a capable backup to steady the ship in case Young has to miss any time. -
Yeah he is still missing the point. It proves nothing yet…

Getting hyped about a rookie QB after a preseason game would be the comparison. My point was don’t look too much into it. I’m not writing DTR off, just simply stating a good preseason game doesn’t mean very much.
-
Maybe we can get Zane back. I think the Niners drafted a kicker right?
-
People were thinking the same about Malik last year during the preseason.
-
Anyone else looking forward to this game coming out next month? I was a huge fan of Skyrim, Oblivion, and some of the Fallouts (not the multiplayer one). It seems like they are hyping up Starfield quite a bit. Any chance it can live up to its high expectations?

Von Miller: The Panthers were the better team
ForJimmy replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah I read that, but then you pull the player that is refusing to run the play assignment and put in someone else to help block. I would understand if it was a play or two, but it happened throughout the entire game. A coach needs to have control over the player assignments. -

Hopefully they will throw a flag if anyone sneezes at Bryce then. -

Our coaching didn't do us any favors. Leaving Remmers alone to block Von Miller all game easily changed the outcome... -
Yeah I’d argue he is in the best situation out of all of the rookies. He is in the NFC where there aren’t many great QBs. Plus the South is wide open. He has a former QB HC with Caldwell, Brown, McCown, and a vet like Dalton to help him develop. He has a talented OL featuring a potential franchise LT in Icky plus Campen developing them. He has a talented defense with Evero developing them to keep him in games.
-
Hurts was just in it.
-
We all knew Young had a high football IQ, but many backup QBs do as well. McCown is our QB coach but was never an elite player. Stroud has the height and arm talent that can't be taught. It's easy to see how many of us wanted him (especially after that Georgia game). At the end of the say Stroud went 2 right after Young so it wouldn't have been a crazy reach. I just trust in our staff and think they made the right decision with Young now that it's all said and done.

Imagine when he has some years under his belt. He could have Manning level football IQ when it’s all said and done. His arm has also looked stronger than advertised during camp. A lot of tight window darts and deep balls to Chark.
