  1. post count limits aren't always a bad thing
  2. Florio has decided to go full attack mode on Tepper. I don't like lawyers in general but sanctimonious know it all's are the worse. Simms can ramble for literally hours and you may get one or two accurate statements but you have to put up with inane bs until then. I think he is still pissed his boy Matt Corral is still looking up the chart.
  3. Not sure why Chuba is still ahead of Blackshear anyway, regardless of ST. Didn't both Blackshear and Foreman eclipse Chuba last year? Chuba may do well at picking up the blitz but a RB that always runs toward first contact is a liability.
  4. two things. 1) I'd like to take back my comment this summer that OP has a knack for posting quality topics. I now see that it is more about quality click bait topics. Is this really an IIA? (Igo Ingenious Alt)? 2) How 'bout those patriots!!!
  5. With Sir Purr and the Topcats attending I am assuming some level of official team support for The Roaring Riot for this event? Getting their social media to help promote? I always wondered why the team does not promote and support you guys more
  6. He’s getting a lot of practice reps for a reason. Evaluation spotlight is focused on his position and on him in particular.
  7. Fully against Payton. Always. When Glazer came out and said no way he was going to the Panthers you knew he was just playing us to get a deal from bigger market team. Typical SP dick move. Add in giving multiple draft picks to aints and I didn’t sweat this much. Now he is showing his ass again. Least surprising news ever. “ When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time”.
  8. Same electricity, totally different players. Comparing them by anything other than their ability to generate fan excitement does a disservice to both. come on regular season
  9. I pied this but really think this is the best and most economical way to show support. I can't get to every game and give a lot of credit to those that can and the original PSL'ers. I'm not a big drinker or partier so I do have some issues with Roaring Riot but the original premise that Zack and friends started is still golden. Even if I don't attend the parties or tailgates I support "changing the culture". A strong Roaring Riot only benefits the game day experience so I re-up every year. Of course winning will change things also but as cheesy as a fan club may seem there was nothing like marching into the stadium "en masse" in Jacksonville on one trip. Or marching and singing through the streets of London years ago. Still gives me chills. Kudos to @chknwing for bringing this topic up but would like to hear tangible solutions to how a normal fan can help bring boa back to life and I still think @RoaringRiot is a great way to contribute individually.
  10. I'm ok with bandwagon fans. (except secret patriot fans) Much better than the "everything and everyone sucks" fans that losing brings to the board.
  11. interesting they used the "blueprint" footage as their intro. Also.... Baldy gonna Baldy. He has to be my favorite analyst.
  12. I appreciate the input and it is curious if there is a production company pitching the format to different teams. I just could not sit through any other teams promotional video and especially the jags. I still remember the AOL message board wars of the mid 90's where jags fans kept boasting about their "5 year plan" and their team scribe got elevated to national stage somehow and we now have to suffer thru pete prickso every offseason putting down the Panthers.
  13. I think we are going to be better than .500 with the changes and schedule. But in the NFC South, "be around .500 mark" pretty much means you are going for the division title and a playoff spot. And despite the random media hype bits on the falcons and saints we have a better roster and better coaching so I like our chances. Bucs either stay just off the lead or go into total tank mode.
  14. Loved the scene after drafting DJ where coach Reich walked in and reminded them of the whiteboard scenario they had gone over in his office pre-draft that had Young then Mingo then a trade up for DJ. Then camera cut to that whiteboard. All three of these episodes have been outstanding productions with real behind the scenes information. Big kudo’s!
  15. Win/Win thread for posters who like to bump old threads.
  16. All I saw was, "The Answer Is On The Roster".....
  17. The question was what was the biggest offseason "move" and clearly Rogers to the jets was the single-most significant move. But what JM was referring to is the reason why most of us are so excited. He had to mention two moves just to rank with the Rogers move. But it wasn't just one move and he should not have stopped at two. It is the series of moves this organization is making that is going to make waves this season. Multiple coaching staff additions, draft picks, FA's (both outside and our own), cap management, they all point to a coherent front office, competent ownership and an effing Plan.... a lot of Panther fans are still in shock. That show is so scripted but I see the Panthers making a lot of noise this season.
  18. JMHO. The silent but deadly approach was more attractive
  19. Welll...... not "ultimate". Stand by for start of season thread asking for record predictions and my annual 'undefeated' call. There was this one year where I was only off by a single game!
  20. I don’t see any path to Bryce not being QB1 for week one. #1’s overall start. I guess he could stink it up in the first quarters of preseason but Bryce looks like the real deal so that chance is slim Even a mediocre preseason should be enough to go to QB1 Likewise for game two as no way they bench him regardless of result of game one.
