This is why Bryce Young undoubtedly is QB1
PootieNunu replied to Ivory Panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Stroud has broken the mold his entire life, I would bet on him to do it again. -
I think he runs better Routes than anyone we have had in years he also has good hands. He has never been deadly fast anyway. I concur.

They have experience with what? They all had 5 foot 10 inch 180 pound starting QBs? I guess they all coached Doug Flutie. -

So we have former players "critiquing" guys coming in from college, but none of them are concerned with Youngs size, which is easily the biggest knock on his game as well as arm strength. It sounds like they are not doing a very good job. I guess they all have crystal ball and know he is going to last 10-15 years as a starting NFL QB and his size wont be a problem at all. -
This guy would have to run a 4.2-4.3 for it to even matter. He isnt that fast.

Lol none of the players want to say anything bad about another player who is about to get drafted and cost him millions...who woulda thought..... We have recent evidence with Tua, young is smaller than he is. -

This wasnt even a crushing blow, that was a routine NFL hit. Young could suffer the same fate or play for 10+ years....I dont want us to gamble on that . -

They are only counting height, they just throw body mass out the window. The dude is built like a middle school kid. -

How many threads are you guys going to create to convince the rest of us that we are taking mighty mouse @1, 100% ! -
Yes, he is a 4.7-4.8 guy. I am kind of glad he is not spending countless hours to perfect his 40 time. He is fast enough to get a couple of yards with his legs when the opportunity arises.

I thought it would be as a size coach to teach our new midget QB how to survive in the NFL as a small dude.... Jokes aside Munnerlyn was a beastly dude for his size

The Bears want a certain type of backup with athletic abilities to suit their offense incase Fields gets hurt, They dont want 2 playbooks for 2 different QBs. Its not like PJ is about to be their starter, he still sucks.

What would KC want for Mahommes and Kelce ??

Weed doesnt produce this type of moron. He is on hard drugs. -
When he is not, barring a major catastrophe, bump yourself off the site. Dalton was not brought in to be a starter.
-
The Jets wants to win more than just Regular season games, Rodgers at least has shown he can win some playoff games, Lamar usually acts injured when playoff time rolls around.
-
Yea we clearly should have went for Carr or Jimmy G to waste cap and hinder our #1 picks development while these guys are trying to live out there childhood dreams in their twilight years. gtfoh. Dalton is a fine signing, he has played just as good as carr or Jimmy G in the past and comes a hell of a lot cheaper. He also does not mind being a backup and will start in a pinch if needed.

This should end all Levis talk for good. Stroud is miles ahead of this guy.

Panthers showing interest in RB Jamaal Williams
PootieNunu replied to Saca312's topic in Carolina Panthers
The Lions signed a RB to a 3yr/18m deal, if Williams is looking for a deal better than that it will be a hard pass. Foreman can also kick rocks if he wants more than 3-4m per for 2 years. -
I am tired of hearing how the game has changed as we watched Tua get rag dolled numerous times with serious concussions, yea it has really changed. Tua also has 3 inches and 20 pounds on Bryce, I dont see how you spend the #1 pick you traded away future assets for on a guy that will instantly be the smallest starting QB in the league.
-
And it cost him by bulking his body up too much and the little injuries started piling up. Young has a small frame, he is not meant to play at 200+ pounds. The guy makes Tua look big and we have all seen him get rag dolled repeatedly in the NFL. No reason to take a guy who has a big chance at busting because he is too small for the NFL, there are already too many other variables to consider without worrying about size.

We miss on the pick, it doesnt take 10 years to recover from it though lol. We lost our first next year and a 2nd the following year and then we are clear again with all our picks, it will take 2 seasons to see if the QB is working or not anyway.
