I didnt say you had to be toxic, but stop being a little bitch and telling others how to be a fan. One time you say your a stroud guy, then your a BY guy, then your a Lamar guy. You just want to be right so bad and rub everyone elses nose in it. I want Stroud, if we pick Young I will hope he succeeds, if we somehow (barf) trade for Lamar's idiotic poo show I will root for him, I am a Panthers fan, not a players fan. I want the Panthers to be successful, you want to cover all your bases so you can say " SEE I told you guys we should have picked/traded for <insert player> "

No to Hopkins, it has already been stated he is not good for a rebuilding team. He does not practice during the week, he dosent know how to juice without getting caught, he has a injury history, and he is on the wrong side of 30. Nothing about him says he will be good for a rookie QB.

Good Question.. What type of edge do you want..
PootieNunu replied to Sub Zero's topic in Carolina Panthers
Since we already have a tweener that we plan to keep, I would think we want a power guy. -
We dont have to do anything this season, he is under contract for this year. We could franchise him next season if he is asking for elite money. It could go either way, he could finally be elite, and earn more next offseason, or we could pay him now and he still just get 10-11 sacks and sucks big time against the run....

Who didnt see this coming? Now Tepper can make more $ off brand new uniforms

You cant talk bad about "The SpideyBurns" or point out his shortcomings, how dare you!

I guess edge rushers are like QBs then, Cousins and Carr could be considered top 10 for their position as well....

We heard one offer from the Rams and now every team is willing to give up two 1sts+? I dont see it.

I said he was "good" at getting after the QB, he just isnt great. Its whatever for me, he was hyped coming out of college and he still seems like the same guy he was 4 years ago to me. I had hoped he would round out his game but it doesnt look like it.

It shouldn't have been too hard to get them to take pay cuts. I would have started the conversation like " I dont know what kind of drugs our old guys were on but you are making way too much money for your production level, Would you be interested in taking a pay cut to stay here or would you rather get cut next offseason and try your luck on the open market? "

His liability against the run should already be a non factor if he wants Watt money. We shouldn't be paying a one trick pony like a complete DE, Watt is a beast against the pass and run. Burns is terribly overrated by this fanbase, he is basically aldon smith but he plays 3 downs like a complete player. I wish we could see how he does in a 3-4 before handing him 100m., right now he is not worth it imo.

Looking at Success or Failure of top 10 to 12 QBs since 2000
PootieNunu replied to Hoenheim's topic in Carolina Panthers
The same way he has his entire life, pure athletic abilities. No one cares you hate this board or you would be willing to spend a fortune for Lamar's dumb ass. If we want a running QB we have our own in Cam who is actually intelligent that wont cost multiples first round picks and a 9 figure contract. -

Well when you typed out Mike Vick and great QB in the same space you knew it was coming. Mike Vick was only a great QB in Madden, he left much to be desired as a RL QB. -

Rookie QB > Lamar anyway. If we want a qb to run the ball just bring Cam back for a hell of a lot cheaper than Lamar can be had. Lamar has not won anything meaningful, he is dumb as a box of rocks, and he cant stay healthy. Let Baltimore deal with that mess. -
It would have also been nice to have this kind of coaching staff when we had generational talents in Cam and Luke but that is neither here nor there. Tepper fuged up the first and second time around, first by trusting Hurney and second by trusting Rhule. He might have it figured out now in a shorter time than it has taken some owners.

Jason LaCanfora: Dave Tepper loves Bryce Young
PootieNunu replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tepper also loved Matt Rhule, I would ask Tepper which QB he likes and pick the opposite.- 82 replies
