Not miserable at all, just wondering since according to the huddle RBs are so easy to plug and play. We don't need to pay top dollar for one was most peoples sentiment.

"Worst undefeated team" Its coming, we've been there.
PootieNunu replied to thunderraiden's topic in Carolina Panthers
We have had the easiest schedule but most places had their darling Saints ranked in the Top 10 before we dominated them from start to finish. Who else dominated a top 10 team like that so far? Oh, thats right the same Saints when they beat the snot out of their darling Packers. The Broncos have beaten the Jags and the Giants, gtfoh. -
So Chuba should be out there to try and learn to pass block since we had the lead and were trying to rest CMC? Royce is in his 4th season, I doubt he is going to get it if he does not have it now. I guess the coaches thought he could handle the pass blocking better than a rookie, but that was not the case.
-
If that's all the one that just got here has to offer, he does not need to be here. Let Chuba get out there and learn.
-
Maybe if our OL ever gets sorted out it will not be as bad. Then we may not need TEs and RBs to help block as much.
-
I do too, if he goes down we are pretty much fuged on offense. Im not talking about the running part of being a RB. Any RB can go in there and run for 3-4 yards, im talking about a guy that can handle all the responsibilities at least half way decent.

Running backs are supposed to be a dime a dozen but we cannot find one that can spell CMC and actually do their job. Tons of people were tossing around ideas of CMC being overpaid, but without him chances are we are not 2-0. Week 1 CMC picks up Sheldon Rankins, 6-2 305lb DL, so Sam can hit the TD to Robby. Week 2 Royce Freeman gets blown up by Bradley Roby , 5-11 194lb CB, and allows Sam to be sacked on 3rd down. Since RBs are so easy to be had why can we not find one worth 2 cents to spell CMC? It is a shame when our RB1 comes off the field we basically cannot move the ball at all.
-
When you remove CMC and start calling stupid plays because we have a lead that tends to happen. We definitely took our foot off the gas vs the saints. I dont have a problem with it as long as we still win. We have seen the past couple of weeks when the other team threatens we drive the field and add to our lead. I know CMC needs rest, we will need him later in the season.

Panthers at Texans - What Texans Fans are Saying
PootieNunu replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
It does not really matter who we beat right now in the medias eyes we are the worst undefeated team. Its always like this. -
CMC is #1, DJ is #2, the other guys are just complementary pieces at this point. They do have the talent to be more than that we just need to find ways to get them the ball more frequently.
-
The only way you stop it or slow it down is by having an extra blocker such as a RB waiting to help. The problem is with our other pieces they cannot double everyone. When can we extend Reddick he needs to be here long term.
-
Really the sky is the limit if the D keeps playing like this. They cant run the ball and they cant stop our pass rush from getting home. If that continues the only thing that can destroy it is terrible turnovers by the offense.

"Sam needs preseason reps, this coaching staff is clueless."
PootieNunu replied to Rags's topic in Carolina Panthers
Sam is capable of making throws that Teddy cannot make. He has made a couple of mistakes, but they have been manageable. The best part is Sam will own up to these mistakes when they go over the film and try to improve instead of blaming everyone else. I know it has only been 2 games but it has been more good than bad so far imo. -
I really loved how he jumped up and made the one on one tackle on Kamara. Another play of his that impressed me was fighting off the block and drawing a holding call trying to make a tackle. Donte has really stepped up and bought into the system.

Official New Orleans Saints at Carolina Panthers Gameday Thread!
PootieNunu replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Where is @AsylumGuido I told him Jameis would feel the heat and return to his old ways. Its nice to be able to shut the run down and get after the QB. Donte has really stepped up and bought in. Great game by the D. -
I knew CMC had a lot of touches, but yikes....
PootieNunu replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
The O line already sucks. That is great that NO can play their rookie RB because they have an OL that is not trash. We cannot pull CMC and allow our backs to get Sam killed by missing blocks when our OL already misses them routinely. On top of that CMC was basically our entire offense 180+ yards and had the block that allowed Sam to hit Robby for the TD. Im not sure what can be done differently when our OL has a pass block win rate of 20% -
Talk to me about the Saints. What do you know?
PootieNunu replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
You can see that from one game where Jameis was not asked to do a lot? The packers rolled over for you guys, they dont have any pass rushers that are as good as our 3rd best pass rusher. We will be bringing the heat and Jameis will get hit early and often on Sunday. We will have to see if he reverts to his old ways when the pressure is coming. -
I want to know on what drive could we have put a backup RB in and still moved the ball. Most of the time the pass rush was arriving as Darnold checked it down to CMC. A check down to a scrub is not nearly as effective as a check down to CMC. Maybe we can begin to spread the ball around if the Oline can pull their head out of their ass.
-
Im not sure what people expect Darnold to do when he was getting hit as he was delivering the balls to CMC, its not like our OL was giving him loads of time to go through his reads. Its either take the check down or take the sack. He made some good throws and some bad throws and will hopefully get better if our OL can show any kind of improvement. To have a chance vs the saints next week we need the OL to show up in pass protection and the D needs to hit Jameis all day like they did with Wilson.
