Still like Goodley, McBride or Lewis. IEO would be a good value pick.
-
Lol fug me... Bucs just took Kenny bell.
-
Wtf? I had a feeling yesterday that some of the segments on nfln were taped/edited. They just showed the same segment again from earlier like it was live interview... Lol. Trying to kill time, much? Also, these fan announcements lol... "from my hometown, WEST VIRGINIA!!! WAHOO!"
-
Nevermind lol.
-
Bet steelers take WR.
-
You talked him up... Cards just took him at 159.
-
I really hope we take Goodley, Bell, or Worthy with our last picks. Anyone know if we've shown any interest in any of them?
-
Anyone know why Goodley slipped this far?
-
Hoping for McBride, Goodley, or Worthy in the 5th.
-
Yeah, there's a lot of fodder/interviews and such on nfln, and it's like they delay announcing the picks until they're done with those segments, even on the ticker.
-
Wow... Nfln is dragging their feet then lol.
-
Where are you seeing the picks that early?
-
The Falcons are having a great draft.

Not when you have a comment to be made, but don't want the villagers to gather with torches and pitchforks.

Allowing each team to announce the pick from their headquarters seemed like a cool idea initially, but man, I can't wait for it to be over. It sucks. Too clunky.

You clearly don't understand it TRG. By saying, I didn't frame it or start it, I am stating you created the argument about me stacking my opinion up against gettleman's resume. Which I didn't. Also, I did reason out why I didn't like the pick (mentioning his drop rate, that he was slow) to which you responded with: bahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaa bahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaa bahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaa bahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaa yore egoz!!! 1 (clearly a post looking for thoughtful discussion). I didn't say anything about his humble beginnings until you trolled me with that post. But you're right... I'm tired of debating it... I'll see you in the next thread I disagree with something in, bringing another well-deliberated and thoughtful response like the one quoted above.

I wanted speed, Red. And admittedly, I likely got sucked into some trolling from the gettleman circle jerk initially, where every move is fuging einstien-esque, and went too far in my stated opinion of the pick. I don't love it, but we'll see what happens. I'll be much happier with it if we draft a speed guy today. I'm just not a big fan of filling your WR corps with gigantic, long-striding (slow), inconsistent-catching receivers. Hopefully KB will be a year better and more reliable, and hopefully a lot of Funchesses issues were because he had another reciever throwing to him, but I was never blown away watching him. The ability to separate is my biggest concern. But again, with already having Ginn, if we can take another speed guy today, I would feel a lot better about things.

TRG, this is the post that ignited the "ego" and "random Internet guy v Gettleman," poo that you kicked up this morning. I didn't start that and I didn't frame it. You did. And this post was in response to me simply saying I hated the pick, mentioned funchess'drop rate, and that I thought he was slow. I then responded to this troll-worthy post with "and he was a P.E. coach," to demonstrate he is human as well. So, for all your, "don't make dumb arguments," talk, this quoted post bodes well for that. Glad you've had a change of heart since last night.

Thing is, I'm not doing any of those things but simply disagreeing with individual moves that are made. I also have said I loved signing Ginn, Tillman, Oher, Martin, Colman, etc. That's where perception comes in. My opposition on this board is turning this into a Proudiddy v Gettleman argument. I have no ego, at least not enough of one to stack myself up against him lol. I'm saying I don't like this, I would've done it this way, and people are perceiving that to mean, "look at my Internet track record where my job isn't on the line! Trust me, my Madden online franchise is a 25x champion!" I'm not the one framing it that way. Like I said, when someone (not you) can't win an argument, they reach for the furthest, most extreme thing to discredit the other. So, if me saying "that's the wrong move" can't be disproven at this moment, what better way to dump on it then to say, "he's an NFL gm and you're not. Shut up and watch." Okay... Bye bye dialogue! I have said I disagree with certain moves, and have loved others, with my biggest gripe being that WR has widely been ignored while other strengths have been addressed and addressed again. I'm watching and say what I think... That's all.
