  1. yea when you think PJ is better than Darnold, not sure you can handle calling the shots
  2. Actually he doesn’t if you haven’t noticed his whiney bitch fest tantrum he is throwing right now. I did appreciate him stepping up in a shitstorm even though he isn’t HC material but after this BS he/his team is insinuating. I despise Tepper but he is one of the most progressive owners (first trans cheerleader, Reid etc). If Reich was going to be it all along so the fug what. How can he simply hire who he wants without making a minority going through the motions to satisfy a dumb rule? He literally can’t. Wilks should be suing the NFL for their rule.
  3. Yea I think the whole mid to late first round pick was some bullshit. It’s two firsts minimum imo. And as much as I’d love it, just too much.
  4. and here we go, trying to hype yourselves up for the new HC. go and watch actual games he failed and see how/why they unfold, it’s not that hard.
  5. admittedly I did not watch much of the eagles just his stint with the Colts. And I saw trying to force an offensive game plan that worked at first, but not after the other team adjusted, over and over and over. it was pretty brutal and frustrating could be that he was overwhelmed calling the offensive plays…or that he had a garbage carrousel at qb perhaps if the Panthers trade up and get a QB things will be different, I love stroud but actually think Young might be better for Reich
  6. Scheming yes, which I’d agree. But adjustments? No.
  7. Not to mention trading for Wentz because…Jesus. How’s that work out? Dumb. Before you all get giddy and force yourselves to look at the positives, let’s remember how excited you were about Rhule too. Reich can create an offensive scheme and plays I’ll give him that but if he doesn’t have any willingness to adapt, it’s worthless.
  8. Have you even watched Reich? He is the offensive version of Fox/Rivera, he will stubbornly stick with a gameplan and the same plays no matter what. The scheme will not change, there will be no adjustments, and there will not be exploiting of mismatches. Thats ‘man vs. man’ football ideology that comes from the 90s.
  9. Jesus is this really our bar. I mean he is offense and you do have to wonder how many saw Rhule’s hired GM standing there with Tep and his wife and immediately was like damn, f this. I’d have to imagine probably the better candidates that had the most options. Makes logical sense. eh guess we will see. Hope the DC is good.
  10. Yep. In typical huddle fashion, this will be a feel good thread. With more from Zod to follow about why he was after all the best HC to hire and how we will be in the SB soon. And a full off-season of delusional fans hyping themselves up and poo on the ‘room and gloomers’ only to be let down once again despite the writing already on the fuging wall for non casual, long time fans. The amazing part is people seems to lose all memory until next hire and it starts all over again lol. Guess we will have to wait another half decade to have a chance to get to the modern age.
  11. Literally would not be surprised. Just the fact him and his wife are the ones interviewing is terrifying. It’s like having someone with a billion points on their $1k/month car insurance and several totaled cars as your cab driver.
  12. Circumstantial and luck. Statistically, first round qbs are more successful. There is no point here. You going to compare Hurts, Wilson, Brady, Carr, Prescott and now Purdy to basically all qbs taken in the first for the past twenty years? Because that’s what this is implying, and we don’t even know if Hurts and Purdy are long term. Those are the only good qbs I can think of after round 1 in a long time. There are probably a few more over that period but it won’t compare to the first rounders. Take out round two and those numbers are almost non existent. I get his point though, especially about scouts being lazy, but given how few franchise qbs go after round one or even round two, that’d take a poo lots of time to try and find/scout, like a needle in a haystack. High rounds (1,2) still offer your best bet.
  13. I mean I can find those with Hurney too. It’s just articles, where’s the experience? Fact is he was hired by Rhule, and there are signs all over that he isn’t qualified.I wish our fans would be more weary of coaches and FO hires that have literally no interest outside of this team. Any GM can can do contracts, that’s like a basic qualification. We need someone who can hire a HC and structure a winning roster. If you wanna say I support throwing Fit (poo) against a wall, fine. But let’s not act like there isn’t better, known options that could be scouted. The coach, especially a college one, doesn’t hire the GM. That’s asinine. And inexperienced owners usually look for consulting to do so. Not to their wife. Like I said the signs are there, if you feel like seeing them, or just look at evidence or lack thereof. Articles are nice too I suppose. From what I understand you cannot interview a GM without firing your current one first. Tepper tried to do this a couple years ago with an Eagles up a comer while retaining Hurney and got denied by Philly. And laughed at for being an idiot owner. But if he fired Fit, and other teams give permission in some cases (which they normally do), it’d be allowed.
  14. A hard sell? Damn near impossible. I mean you’re stuck with a GM Rhule hired (lol) who isn’t going to help really with anything other than paperwork. And then your owner is probably now very reluctant to hand over ANY control because he is too stupid to understand it’s not control but who he picks to have it that is key. Plus I bet Tepper meddles a lot more than I’d lead to believe. He is a losing owner. I can’t think of more than two franchise who have a worse record over the past 5 years combined. Tepper doesn’t know how the NFL works, processes, guidelines and rules etc. His one positive, if I assumed, would be money and going out and getting whoever the coaches wanted if possible. But yea, damn near impossible sell and I can only imagine when these seasoned NFL up and comers go in there they can tell right away this is a poo show if it was already obvious with a GM that a Baylor coach hired standing there.
  15. Y’all still mad at the Nebraska HC lol Yet the dumbass who hired him, the the GM he hired are still here to do plenty of damage. Prepare thy anus.
  16. Dwayne Jarrett…that was his name…what a bum
  17. God this franchise is so fuging stupid. I can’t imagine being so dumb to literally expect great outcomes from hiring the same clone mediocre HCs for 30 years.
  18. No up and coming GM with options would come play for a Baylor car salesman who has control. And certainly wouldn’t sign off on all these dumb moves. He either did that or made these moves himself, why does it matter how inept you are if you’re inept? Fitt wasn’t miraculously the best candidate and isn’t miraculously the only thing Tepper has done that was a home run. Give me a break. Carrying over staff is a huge red flag, Tepper isn’t learning. He did the same with Hurney. Coaches don’t even hire GMs in the first place unless they’re all Star coaches lol. That alone should tell you everything’s but y’all are some weird ass fans. Panther fans are the most forgiving, unaware, mediocre driven fanbase in the NFL, it is dumbfounding. Players can be garbage for years and Panther fans be like ‘giVE hIm a ChAnCe1!!’ like that did WR we have for three years I don’t even remember his name. Combined with Teps dumbassery and this fanbase sometimes I feel like I could sneak onto the staff somehow and fleece the team out of several millions for a few years.
  19. You all are just butthurt. Payton can scheme. He can adapt. He can build a team and a legit/elite staff. Tepper needs a HC like Payton. He will build the roster and culture. He’ll tell Tepper to fug off with dumbassery as well. Until now, all Tepper is known is kiss ass Hurney, salesman Rhule, and yes man Fit. None of them were at the top of their positions or knew what the fug they were doing. Think about that for a second. You wonder why Tepper is so such an inept owner? He learns nothing and surrounds himself with the wrong people. Payton is the only coach guaranteed to have the balls and more importantly, the resume to put Tepper in his place. That includes getting rid of Fit and finding a real GM. Or at least have him just be there to fill out paperwork. I don’t think some of y’all really comprehend what’s happening here. Tep is creating the modern Browns and another tenure (3-4 years) of five wins and it’s going to be near impossible to dig this franchise out. He already is seeking help from his wife instead of legitimate counsel. Fit is still here. These are HUGE red flags. If you look at the 49ers and theor past years’ records, it’s almost exactly what is happening here. Until their owner got the fug out of the way and started hiring people that knew what they were doing. Who knows where they’d be if they kept doing Tepper-esque bullshit. For the love of god someone needs to teach Tepper. He’s probably not willing though, but especially won’t be without having a Payton or Harbaugh type coach calling out his idiocy. Like or hate Payton, this franchise needs him on more ways than the others.
  20. Y’all know we had an amazing cap outlook two-three years ago too right? Like the best we’ve seen since the looming lockout in 2010? Do you see how quickly that was destroyed AND for perennial 5 wins? Do you know how many teams spend that much and also have that low of wins? There’s only a few, and they’re trash. This is what happens when your franchise is run by an idiot owner. Tepper hasn’t made like 95% awful moves except all of a sudden Fit was right. He is part of the bad decisions and needs to go. The best GM wasn’t miraculously already here lol. It’s not some weird miracle you all think happened.
  21. Yea I’d hate for there to be a shitshow in Charlotte.
  22. soon as we can figure out how to beat all the other offers Wilks is getting we will have an answer oh wait that is our answer
  23. as much as I’d love Payton and give a first for him two firsts is just too much. but I would trade Burns and 20 mil in cap space for Payton
  24. We know Tepper is inept (Rhule). We know he is a bad owner (worst stretch in 30 years of history). We know he will make idiotic decisions or try (Watson). We know he refuses any help that will not coddle his ego (including his wife in decisions). We know he has absolutely no clue how this works (trying to interview GMs and then denied and laughed at because he already had one). We know wants money over player safety or respect (turf). We know he is a slimy snake (obvious hedge fund, but rock hill). You’d have to be extremely naive to learn literally anything about this move.
