  1. That picture is hilarious. On the bright side, the changing of the guard makes me want to watch again. I don't think it's hope, but I think it's the morbid curiosity on how things go, if Sam has changed at all (highly unlikely I know), how Sam looks behind a different line, etc...Same when we went with PJ.
  2. To top off the illustration, basically how big the caliber of the bullet is!
  3. Such a weird path to go in a forum conversation. It's devolved into "Who would win in a fistfight, Baker Mayfield or <random poster x>". That's where we're at.
  4. I don't understand his post. Is he basically saying "I still believe this. I'm still 'here'" or is there some other meaning?
  5. I needed the reminder because I have indeed forgot about him
  6. I went to central cabarrus high. Grew up on the edge of concord and midland. Spent a lot of time driving up and down pitts school, poplar tent, etc.
  7. I went to high school with Natrone Means brother, Jimmy Means. Even arm wrestled him the cafeteria once lol. He was a nice guy!
  8. Loved what I just saw and heard! He's a spitfire and full of positive energy.
  9. Helluva player and worker. Thanks Christian!
  10. Sam can definitely move the ball. I really do think he has a great arm. However, there will be an interception at some point in all long drives.
  11. Was reading an article on the Bucs and noticed this whizzer. Gave me a chuckle. Source: https://www.yahoo.com/sports/tom-brady-led-bucs-offense-has-been-anything-but-a-fantasy-land-and-its-why-the-team-is-struggling-193931866.html
  12. I do agree in principle. But practically , one week is not going to change much. It's going to be the same playbook, same play caller, etc.. slight tweaks sure. I think what you're saying is PJ, the coaching change, etc.. will bring new energy and that energy will turn this into a winning team. I hope you're right, but the pragmatic side of me screams "not really". I'm on board though!
  13. I'm indifferent with Tepper. He made a mistake with Rhule and the whole training facility thing was an odd thing. But what does bug me about him is the lack of communication. Whether he accepts it or not, he's now a "city leader" of sorts. A Charlotte/NC/SC influencer. It'd just be nice if he'd make himself more accessible. Not saying a weekly meet-n-greet or anything even close, but just speak out occasionally. Give thoughts. Give directions. Give high level ideas and initiatives.
  14. This is a great idea. I wouldn't mind changing mine too since 'ole Mick has retired.
  15. Interesting feedback from CMC Source: https://www.thescore.com/nfl/news/2440479/amp Excerpt: Still, Rhule believes he can beat the odds. “We have good players and I trust our players,” Rhule said. “I think we need to make more plays on offense. Our defense is playing well, our special teams is playing well and our offensive line is playing well.” Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey said players are “absolutely” behind Rhule. “Each player on this team, we have high accountability,” McCaffrey said. “The matter of fact is we haven't been good enough. I'm in the meetings, and I know what's being coached. Bad football is not being coached. When asked if he’s seen that accountability across the locker room, McCaffrey responded, “We’re getting it fixed.” McCaffrey, one of the team's captains, said it's up to the players to turn things around and change the losing mentality. “We have to make the plays when our numbers are called,” McCaffrey said. “And that's not happening right now. We have extreme urgency to get it done.”
  16. We do blame TEs. and qbs. and coaches. and ocs. McCaffrey is good.
  17. It's quite shocking to see his decline because he had a solid 2020 season which tells me he is (was) capable. Something is wrong.
