  1. Maybe he still needs to get the playbook down? Can't be out there looking lost on defense.
  2. Great move IMO. Refill the draft cupboard for the next coach and all they had to do was trade a RB who is replaceable at the end of the day. I wish we had McCaffery with a good offensive coordinator but his time here has been pretty much force feeding him the ball to the tune of 5 wins. It wasn't sustainable and now they have options next year. While I think CMC is awesome, he is not prime AD where you can run him all day to the playoffs no matter who your QB is.
  3. I guess they really didn't trust him to throw the ball downfield at all. He probably would have thrown 5 picks if they let him. Plan seemed to be run the ball and be physical. Grind this game out until we get a QB back but you HAVE to let him throw once the other team knows all you are doing is playing at the LOS.
  4. You keep the young defense. You keep the O-line starters. WRs, RBs, QBs are all open game.
  5. I don't think we want Quinn. I mean if you look at his Falcons era it wasn't bad on the surface but after he lost Shannahan it all fell apart. Can Moore orchestrate an offense to that level. Plus the amount of sheer talent they had when they were posting winning records was crazy, it won't always be like that.
  6. Sounds like Rhule ran padded practice on Thursday and Wilks moved it back to Wednesday.
  7. With PJ starting I hope the plan is to run, run run. Get Foreman involved a bunch too.
  8. I think we are in better shape then the Giants W/ Daboll. So if we can get the right coach I think there is a lot of potential to be used correctly here.
  9. I think he has to basically help pick the right HC, not spend any future capital for two seasons, have good drafts with a smaller amount of picks and help make sure the right players get on the field.
  10. I love the confidence. You can tell he knows what he wants to do. He has talked to McAdoo, got rid of Snow, and spoken to Fitt and is going over the roster to make the internal moves they think will help. These next 3 games are very important. I wonder if he has been taking note in preparation for this, based on the rumors he was informed this could be happening to bring him over from Missouri.
  11. "Ben and I have spoke on several occasions in the last 24 hours. I feel like there are certain things we want to get done schematically that I feel like will give us the opportunity to progress and move forward. Those conversation's have been between he and I. He has been receptive. "
  12. Well...if there is any hope of a turn around the next 3 games are it. Lets see what you got Wilks! I know the Cardinals gig was tough, but people can learn and grown. He's got a defense to lean on. Gotta get the offense right.
  13. A worse Chip Kelly....who would have thought that was possible.
  14. Sounds like he is staying. Which is good, I like FItt and Morgan both.
  15. I don't think DJ ever liked this guy. You can tell in that video from when Rhule was hired and he bumped into DJ and talked about trying to recruit him.
  16. I mean, I'm not here to defend Rhule. I want him gone, but I have to say that I was at the NYG game and there were so many open receivers ( especially Shi that game I believe ). It was like someone said before, they were open quick but the ball never got out quick. I also believe that offense doesn't have anyone taking over and getting these guys fired up. I know motivation starts from coaching and they didn't places like coaching too but there is no Cam ( and there never will be ), Jake, 89 bottom line that isn't taking anyone's slacking poo. Those guys were on your ass if you weren't giving 100% out there ( Steve Smith probably a little too much LMAO ). I thought Baker would be that guy, he sure talks a lot, but he ain't it.
  17. No he didn't that was a bunch of Huddle BS. Keep Pounding is all over the place. They made a Sam Mills videos series this year for fugs sake.
  18. It is gross. Give the guy time to heal before you throw him out there. The team and coaches have to look out for the human being too. ugh.
  19. For sure it starts from the top when you can clearly see its more then a lack of execution. Someone on this offense has to show some fire too. Like...come on guys, someone has to WANT it. Coaches can only motivate so much too. I wonder if anyone in that offensive room even has better ideas? I took a look through that staff and while there is experience it all looks like they are tied to Rhule or MacAdoo, but that doesn't necessarily mean they see things the same way.
  20. Honestly it sounds like everyone needs to take the next step. O-line lets pressure in too quickly on 3rd. Baker misses opportunities. WR aren't getting open, being in the right spot. Plays aren't the greatest. Someone in the building needs to have serious talks with the O coaching staff.
  21. I think it will improve as the season goes on. The o-line seems to be playing better. Baker just has to start trusting and sticking in the pocket to make the throws. He is always ready to run outside and try to make a throw. I do like that we Shenault out there, hopefully we keep expanding.
